small update: added a quick launch toggle by pressing L button
speeds up any repeated time change operations during gameplay.

Happy Christmas everyone!
Great work!! i have not set my network time previously (not connect to wifi since when it bought), i use this with 90dns to sync my network time to the ntp.org time server but now my user time not match with the network time. for example, network clock is now 12pm but my user time is 8pm (timezone GMT+8), i suspect the mismatch is due to the timezone setting ? is it possible to match them ?

That is pretty odd. They should be synced. Maybe try checking your Switch Timezone setting?

Yup, it was due to the timezone setting, whenever i changed the timezone my user time will changed accordingly and the network clock is not changed unless i set my timezone to GMT +0 or never sync the clock via internet then my user time will be exactly same with the network time. Thanks.

Saw this thread, and now all I can think about is the potential for pushing to a raid's shiny frame even faster. Would this tool simplify the process? I understand the fastest known way right now is to do the VS/Link Battle glitch, then change the date one day at a time in system settings, but if such a process could be automated (even if it had to do it one day at a time), then I'd imagine it could be very valuable for people.

You might want to check out my other project, automatic date advancing with Luxray: https://gbatemp.net/threads/luxray-...rd-and-shield-in-form-of-a-sys-module.557242/
This one is more like just a testing ground I did for Luxray. Luxray can do advances at 10k frames per hour.

After reading the latest AC patch notes :
The patch contains the game's first special event, Easter (4/1-4/12). Time travelers whose system is set to those dates will NOT be allowed to experience those events until it is actually that time IRL. An Internet connection will be required to check the real date when the event first starts on 4/1, after which the event can be enjoyed with no Internet connection. Also worth noting that the user playing must have a connected Nintendo account when this check is performed.
Can I bypass the online checking with this app? I haven't been online in years, so if I match the user time and net time will it work?

Any chance of getting the functions implimented into a tesla overlay for maxium profit?
If you would like to look at another open source luxray is another time skipping hbrew
Yes, I made another overlay homebrew, luxray, which also have date-changing functionalities and works with Tesla Menu as well. It was made for Pokemon tho, so the controls are a little weird (uses L and R for BACK and ENTER)

Note that you can't change the time in AC just by changing the system time tho. The game keeps track of its own time. Closing and reopening the game is still required to update the date for now.

Not really closing and reopening but being in the titlescreen. You csn just press minus > save > change time before going to titlescreen > press A to continue plying

Hey I’m looking to use this to skip ahead a few days just to move around my house and unlock terraforming, if I move forward in time on the game and go back to the my official time will there be any downsides to this?

Nah, you will lose some miles in the bank bc going back resets the counter, bt that's it. I do it all the time.

Cool so I can skip a week ahead to speed up my moving buildings and revert back to my original date, any idea how much miles I would lose doing this? Not that it matters but I’m trying to keep my save as legit as possible I have about 16k Miles atm
