Hacking EZ Flash Omega Game Cheats

Hello,

I recently bough an EZ Flash Omega for the sole purpose of using cheats on Pokemon Emerald.
After loading on the cheats, everything is in Chinese. I have not been able to find and cheat files from EZ Flash Omega that are in English.

Plus, the cheats in the file are not that great. They dont really do what I need them to do.
So, I was wondering if its possible to add either my own .cht file or to add more cheat codes to the game?

I have not seen any tutorial about this online. Is it possible to add my own cheats? Like the ones from gameshark?

You can edit the .cht files manually using notepad or textedit. If you need some cheats go to gamehacking dot org (sorry for the format, new user rules). They have a huge amount of cheats that are pretty well tested. You'll need to filter the cheats by Action Replay Max type cheats when you find the game you're after. Then when you put them in the .cht file, they need to be converted to a different format, e.g.:

Original AR code: 0022C297 0000F563
.cht file code: ON=2C297,63,F5

Basically the formula (for single-line codes at least) is if the original code starts with 001, 002, 003, or 004 it will work on the EZ Flash. You then remove the first 3 characters, in this case 002. Your code would then look like this 2C297 0000F563

Then you remove the leading zeros on the second part of the code, after the space. Now your code would look like this: 2C297 F563

Finally you replace the space with a comma, reverse the second part of the code where you removed the zeros, and put a comma between each pair of characters. Your code would look like this now: 2C297,63,F5

Then you can add it to the .cht file in this structure:

[Cheat Name e.g. Inf HP]
ON=2C297,63,F5

The "ON=" basically amounts to a label for the toggle when you're in the EZ-Flash UI.

Are you shure that you can use AR Codes with this? Because there is none starting 00X .
