If anyone has solution to the game lagging when cheats are enabled, that'd be greatly appreciated!
I'm on SXOS and everytime I enable any cheats, the game lags really badly unless I restart the game so I can't have any cheats on while playing.
Does Atmosphere have this issue?

I OC'ed my Switch which works just fine, though I am also using Atmosphere/Kosmos and haven't noticed the lag being as bad as you and the other guy describe it, must be a typical SX problem.

Apparently since multiple SX OS users seem to reporting lag issues, the common denominator here very much seems to be SX OS. Try OC'ing (I have CPU: 1326, GPU: 844, RAM: 1600) and using less cheats like others suggest. If none of that works, it's definitely an SX OS fault.

which is funny cause ive been using SXOS this whole time (because i dont want to install nsp files) with ZERO issues in performance testing and using codes as well

i'm sorry i'm new to this, can you show me how to OC my switch or which settings you use?

Check the sys-clk thread and the sys-clk-editor (to edit the values through an NRO on your Switch). My values are:
CPU: 1326
GPU: 844
RAM: 1600

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I said multiple, doesn't mean everyone. Just because you don't have that issue doesn't mean others cannot have it, and the common denominator is SX OS. There can be an issue with something without you having that issue, I hope you know that.

Try this patch. I haven't tested it tho.
It stubs nn::ldn::Initialize to return -1. (It's supposed to return a "Result", so idk if this will cause issues like invalid error code or something.)
Again, untested. So let me know if it works or does it break the game or anything.

Thanks, I may attempt this soon. At them moment I am able to enter a battle, put the switch to sleep, resume the switch and then I can connect noexs while in battle.

I can confirm, SXOS and not even the tiniest bit of lag. Cheats or not. It has to be on your end, make sure everything is updated.

That's interesting. Are you using NSP or XCI? I'm playing straight from XCI atm. I might try installing NSP to see if it solves the issue.

I'm using Firmware 8.0.1 on SXOS 2.9.2. Shall try installing the NSP instead of playing straight from XCI and see if it fixes the issue.

clearly its possible, but what i dont understand is how a completely non-customizable cfw with only 1 file to load from can have such varying differences between users. The only thing i can think of is Emunand because im willing to bet thats the difference between me and others, I dont use emunand unless testing something potentially dangerous to my switch, and xecutor is known for half assing features

Yeah that is my suspicion too, good point. We really don't know, the issue just started appearing to more testing needs to be conducted.

nsp installs leave your console open to a higher chance of being banned if something slips past the cfw's attempts to block telemetry that is sent to Nintendo. If you are using Emunand, try booting the game without it enabled and tell me the difference

My Switch is already banned, so installing NSP isn't a problem for me. I'm not using Emunand either.
I'm using Firmware 8.0.1 on SXOS 2.9.2 with Airplane Mode on. I haven't upgraded to 9.0.1 because I heard 8.0.1 is more stable. Still have no idea what's causing the lag since some other SXOS users aren't experiencing it but some do.
