Just booting into CFW is not going to get you banned. If someone says they got banned just for booting into CFW take it with a huge grain of salt. If this was something that happens then there'd be thousands of Switches banned with confirmed cases of it happening.

A short 20 second boot into SysCFW should be fine. I've used Checkpoint to transfer saves between my emunand and sysnand, multiple times, it's been probably 6 months and I haven't been banned, nor do I think I ever will be.

Just don't do anything stupid. Don't try to play online with CFW, and don't go online with homebrew or illegit NSPs installed, and you'll be fine. You've got pretty much nothing to worry about right now.

I'm booting into sysNAND Atmosphère from time to time (did not get me banned) to use Checkpoint (even that didn't get me banned although I recommend you to be careful with it).

Booting alone shouldn't do anything.

Yeah I use Checkpoint to move over saves from EmuNAND to SysNAND too. I've done things like update from the same firmware officially twice (once while an incorrect fuse count too), played XCI and NSPs offline and I used to clear logs all the time even though people were saying that gets you banned. I wouldn't recommend doing that now (there's not really any reason to anymore) but you'd be surprised how many things Nintendo aren't checking for currently.
