How can I install games from leftover files on my sd card?

Long story short, I have a new emunand I made, and then I added all files from my old emunand back on the SD card, so they are on the SD card but the games won't show up on the main screen or anything. Is there anyway to re-install them from those files? Or anyway to make them showup? I don't have all the .nsp files unfortunatly, and I really don't want to have to re-download all those games if I can help it. I have the old emunand backed up, so I could go back to using it again temporarily if I need to backup files or something, but I don't want to use the old emunand as a permanent solutuon because it doesn't have the same account on it and I want to use the same account on both emunand and sysnand, and because my controllers are synced to my emunand and sysnand, but on my old emunand I had to switch them back and forth. I could also make a new emunand if I needed to if there is a way to add the games in that way somehow? I'm not sure.

Thanks in advanced!

What are my chances of being banned using CFW online ?
There is no way to quantify such a possibility.

The exploit cannot be patched via a firmware update but Nintendo can modify the hardware before it leaves the factory.

Hi!
I'm planning to install CFW on my nintendo switch. I however have save games on Breath of the wild, mariokart and Lets go pikachu that I don't want to lose.
Is it possible to make a backup of these save games, that I can later install on the same switch AFTER REMOVING CFW? (Incase I want to recover these games and play online again).

EDIT: Will this recover my Switch to be 100% safe for online use, AND recover my game saves from before CFW installation?

1. you have a clean untouched switch
2. you put it in airplane mode/remove any wifi connection
3. you inject hekate and do a nand backup
4. you go in cfw, but never ever go online again
5. once you are done and want to be legit again you boot into hekate and restore your nand

I am trying to setup an ftp connection with the switch, but when i enter the adress in the windows 10 wizard prompt it gives me an error that the adress is invalid.

Is there a noob guide on how to make it work? it ask me for something like a ftp://ftp adress but the only adress my switch gives is a sequence of numbers.

Hey guys
Long story short, I went back to Switch hacking a couple days ago when I backed up my clean nand and restored my hacked one (not using emuNand yet). After restoring my hacked nand with Hekate, all the games installed to my SD Card have a cloud icon above them and Switch says they need to be redownloaded. Is there any way to fix this aside from re-installing? I'd rather NOT have to go through that.

I remember this having something to do with the Nintendo folder on the SD Card. The problem is not that the base games are not installed. SD Card is formatted as fat32.

On some newer games im getting the error:

"the software closed because an error occurred"

Does this mean I need to update my switch firmware? if so, how do I do this?

Current version: 7.0.1/AMS 0.9.4/S
400GB SanDisk Ultra - fat32 (208GB Free)
Quark v0.2.0

Hi,

I have an (unpatched) Nintendo switch running CFW 5.1.0 (Hekate CTCAER 4.6 injected w/ TegraRcmGUI), I did it a LONG long time ago.. and Im hoping to update it to play newer NSP games. I tried looking around here but I am very lost.. Can someone tell me what the easiest way to update it? Is there a recommended firmware I should keep it on?

Thank you in advance!

This doesn't appear to be a firmware-related issue. Does the issue occur in ReiNX?

Use the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX to update your firmware to 8.1

Hello,

I have a day 1 switch updated to fw 5.1.0 (this was done through the regular Nintendo servers back when fw 5.1.0 first released). I got the SX Pro when it first released and have been using it to play XCI games offline from my SD card without issue since that time. There was no emuNAND at that time so I don't have that installed. I have not updated my system firmware or my SX software in over a year, and I have not gone online since I first used SX Pro. This setup worked for me for every game I wanted to play until now, since the newest games require a higher firmware. But I want to play Fire Emblem and the new Zelda game, so I'll need the newer firmwares.

What is the best way for me to go about doing this? I'm not interested in playing online ever. I just want the simplest way to play the newest games offline (do I even need to mess with emuNAND if that's all I want to do?). I'm assuming if I connect online to update my firmware through the normal means, I will get banned and no longer be able to get newer firmware versions.

I haven't kept up with the CFW scene, and I've forgotten most of what little I knew from a year ago (I vaguely remember things like hekate, TegraSmash, etc. but can't really remember how to use them). I pretty much just remember how to boot into SX to play XCI games. My SX software is still an old version from a year ago, like v1.3 or something. I'm hoping there is a simple and safe way for me to get the newest firmware and continue to use SX Pro to play XCI games offline from my SD card.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Maybe a stupid question.
But how possible is it to get banned for transfering my Smash EmuNand SaveGame(unmodified) to my Nand Official Smash Game with Edizon.
I read that is possible to get banned if you use modified data?

I mean are you using the same SD card with the games that are installed? Was this also the same SD card that was used before the NAND backup was made?

Yes, I am currently using the same SD Card for both Nand backups. I guess I should mention, though, that I recently switched to a new and bigger SD Card, from a 64gb to 128gb. The backup that I restored was made using my old SD Card and restored with the new one. All files were transferred from the old one to the new one before i did the restore. Is that the issue?
