Hello everybody,

I want to inject a payload on my switch. Do I need a sd card inside my switch for it?

I inject a payload for my switch (RCM mode), for the frist time TegraRcmGUI says "successfully injected payload" but nothing happens on my switch (black screen).

When I try it for the second time, TegraRcmGUI freezes and nothing happens.

Thank you :)
The depends on the payload you're trying to inject. What are you trying to do?

hi, im using switch already ini atmosphere cfw, i dont know which version,
seller said already in 8.1 firmware
If you go into the system settings and look at the system version, the version of Atmosphere will be displayed. For example, if you are using system version 8.1.0 and Atmosphere v0.9.2, the system version displayed in the system settings will be 8.1.0 (AMS 0.9.2).

i try to open album there is nothing (not just like other people switch in album have some feature like cheat or something like that)
You need to hold the R button when you select the album in order to open the homebrew launcher.

1. i want to use cheat feature, but how?
A lot of people would recommend using Edizon.

2. what is the best free CFW?
A lot of people would recommend using Atmosphere (plus signature patches that aren't included). It has the most features and is updated very frequently.

ReiNX is a fine alternative, but it receives updates less often and doesn't have all of the features of Atmosphere.

3. what is the best payload?
I'm not sure what you're asking here. If you're using Atmosphere, fusee-primary is the recommended way to launch it. Alternatively, you can use Hekate to launch Atmosphere.

4. im thinking about buy NS-Atmosphere Payload Injector, so i can easily put new game in new sd card and have some feature like cheat?
You can do that if you want, but it's not needed. It's going to make entering Atmosphere easier after fully powering off the system, but you can just use your computer for that. I'm not sure what kind of jig you're already using, but you apparently have something already, and AutoRCM removes the need for a jig.

Also another question. I mistakenly connect n internet with emunand. ANd a game in NSP i had installed got updated. How is it possible? means the game auto update? Now my console will be banned?
If you connect a dirty NAND to the internet without the use of 90DNS and/or Incognito, you will likely be banned.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

-I have a switch with atmosphere on emunand, is it a problem if i let it in sleep mode and the power battery discharge completely? Or if it happens I will just to reinject heckate with the jig and the payload?
If the Switch fully powers off because the battery dies, you will just have to reinject Hekate or fusee-primary and reload your emuNAND. However, it takes a long time for a battery to fully discharge while in sleep mode, and if doable, the Switch should be docked or plugged in when not in use.

-Can I play my cartridge game while being in cfw with emunand?
Assuming your GC slot is up to date, yes, you can play your cartridge game with your emuNAND.

Cartridge game and nsp files shares the same game save?
Cartridge games and NSP games share the same save files. However, emuNAND and sysNAND do not share the same save files.

-How do I uninstall nsp games? If I want to ake more space on my micro sd card?
You can delete games from the data management settings in the system settings.

This does nothing for me, it still can't write serial

Did you did these three steps?

1. Move the downloaded ams_mitm.kip into the "atmosphere/kips" folder. If the folder "kips" doesn't exist, create it.
2. Create a new folder in "atmosphere" called "flags".
3. Create an empty file called "hbl_cal_read.flag" in this folder and plug your SD card back into your Switch.

You could temporarily use SX OS to install Incognito.

This would delete my sysNAND Serial, I want to delete my EmuNAND one.

Hi all!

I'm trying to boot hekate 5.0.1 with no luck.
I put a bunch of files from the kosmos release .zip into the sdcard and start hekate_ctcaer_5.0.1.bin with fusee.
I see the new hekate UI, press on launch. it shows 3 splash screens, and then reboots into the stock firmware.
I'm using 8.0.1 at the moment.

Thanks,

Try booting the latest Atmosphere with fusee-primary.

Hi,

I tried with this release: GH /Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases

I get the same three screens, sept, atmosphere and a logo, and then the stock firmware :(
Is your SD card formatted as exFAT? If it is, you need exFAT support on your Switch. Also, why do you say it boots into stock? What does it say is the full system version string in the system settings?

I think it's stock because when I launch the gallery app I really get the gallery app instead of the CFW menu.
The version string is 8.0.1 (AMS 0.9.2)

Yes, my card is formatted with exFAT support, but I think I have the support because when I installed the 8.0.1 I did the exFAT version

Hi everyone,

I recently installed CFW on my switch using the switch.homebrew.guide website. Everything was going well until I got to the Launch CFW step because the guide didn't have any information about picking between sysNAND and emuNAND. After reading a bit more I picked emuNAND and everything seemed to go fine.

But here's the problem, I never did anything to setup emuNAND using Hekate. Does that mean I really ended up booting into sysNAND, even though that isn't the option I picked? Furthermore, after doing that I booted into stock and disabled 90DNS so I could archive and reinstall games onto that SD card, played a game then re-enabled 90DNS planning to reboot into CFW but decided not to.

So if I made my sysNAND dirty, then I would guess info has already been sent to Nintendo and I'm not sure, but does that mean I can't flash the backup I made at the very beginning? Obviously I screwed up, but I'm not banned yet (as far as I know) and I want to try and keep it that way.

My main question is: Did I boot into emmuNAND despite not explicitly setting it up, and if not, what is the best thing for me to do now?

Thanks
