Keyboard not showing up anymore

Oh ok. On the Top bar (where the clock and the Bettery indicator is located), on the left (next to the Wifi indicator) should be a icon with 4boxes. Tap on it and it should show a menu with a menu item called "show onboard" or something.

Well, if you mean the packages, then you need to type (in Terminal): sudo apt-get update and then sudo apt-get upgrade.
Hope it helped

Hi there,

every time i reboot i have to pair the joycons again. Any way to get around this?
With my bluetooth mouse and keyboard i just have to press a key and they are connected again.

When I boot this throught Hekate I get a blank screen for like 15 seconds and the it reboots back to RCM. I already tried with 2 different SDcards with the same result. Got a solution for this?

How do I transfer files to the larger partition? I can only open the 500MB one because when i try to open the other it says I need to format it

Just stick it in the dock and use a USB drive or something. Or you can mount the second partition on a Ubuntu VM and do it that way.

Kernel updates and such can be done to the 500MB partition which can also be read with Windows and other Linux updates can be done via "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade" directly on the Switch.
Do I copy "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade" into the terminal as is, or do i do them seperately as is update first, then upgrade

For Dolphin, I wanted to be able to use full-screen mode without seeing the mouse and I wanted the ability to exit full-screen mode without a keyboard.
To accomplish this, go into your dolphin graphics settings and check the hide mouse cursor box.
In order to be able to exit dolphin, I mapped the home button on my gamepad to ESCAPE. To do this, you need to install qjoypad:

(courtesy of @wicksand420)
"
For qjoypad you open the terminal and type

sudo apt-get update -y and hit enter

then this

sudo apt-get install -y qjoypad and hit enter

then to configure it, make sure your joycons are paired, then in the terminal type

qjoypad --notray and hit enter

A controller icon will appear, click on it to configure the controllers"

After you click on the controller icon, press the ADD button on the top, then press quick set on the button, and then map the ESCAPE key to the home button (or whichever button you choose).
Then, you can close the small controller icon.
Afterwards, you can simply launch qjoypad from the apps menu, and then it will run in the background with your new settings. I recommend locking qjoypad to the sidebar for quick access.
Now, when you launch dolphin in full-screen mode, you can press the home button to exit full-screen mode and retain full functionality of using your joycons as a mouse in ubuntu! And every time you reboot, you can just click on the qjoypad button in the sidebar and it will automatically run in the background.
How did u press the escape key to button 12 as the keyboard does not have that on it.

Having alot of issues with what I believe are the graphics drivers?

Sometimes after a reboot I can get to the login screen but logging in just boots me straight back to the log in screen, google seems to suggest that this is a graphics driver error, is it worth attempting to update the drivers? Anyone else having this issue?

It's also seemingly getting harder and harder to get linux to take on fresh installs now, used to work straight away now Im having to try 3 or 4 times.

Edit: entering commands in terminal have now also caused black screens twice, with the log in screen showing up in portrait mode. This is on a clean install. Bizzare.

Hey guys, I don't suppose anyone has another link or could upload to mega or Google drive? I don't know why but I've been trying to download this for a couple of days and the maximum download speed I get is 15kb/s..... i have a 50mbps connection, or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've tried using firefox, chrome, fdm download manager, and even jdownloader all with the same results? I live in Australia if that helps.
Thanks guys
