New Inside Xbox episode teases “exciting news” for Halo: Master Chief Collection

Ever since the launch of Xbox’s Play Anywhere initiative, fans have been fervently requesting for Halo: The Master Chief Collection to be made available on PC. Though rumors have teased a PC port being in the works for years, the remaster remains an Xbox One console exclusive. That may soon change, however, according to Brad Sams, an insider who has correctly leaked information about Microsoft projects in the past. Sams originally claimed that The Master Chief Collection would be heading to PC, and would be a reveal set to take place prior to or during Xbox’s E3 conference. Though that alone wouldn’t carry much weight, Microsoft itself seemed to add fuel to the fire, teasing that their next episode of Inside Xbox would be announcing “some exciting news” for Halo: MCC.

If you’re interested, you can watch the episode when it airs live on March 12 at 2 pm PT. The hour-long stream will also showcase new Xbox Game Pass titles, and new gameplay for DayZ and One Piece: World Seeker.

It could be really exciting if it comes to PC, since there are people like me who never bought an Xbox console.
HOWEVER, it could potentially only be available in the Windows 10 exclusive game store, Soooo...I'll remain skeptical.

At this point I'm more interested in that new gameplay for DayZ.
I've only played the first Halo some 12 odd years ago, and skipped Halo 2 because it required Windows Vista (skipped Vista, too), so I'll definitely check out the entire "remastered" collection.

Nice of them to give us a heads-up, that way I can watch in real time as they colossally bungle the whole thing again and kill MCC for good.

I remember being so hyped for MCC before it came out, telling myself I'd save up for an Xbox and the game. Luckily, I had an emergency that needed the money I would have otherwise wasted on a game that nobody was playing online a few months later.

I don't know how involved Bill Gates is with Microsoft now a days but I know that he loves money much more than any regular human being.He was already born into the 1% but that wasn't enough to satisfy his greed.Bill Gates might be one of the greediest animals to ever set foot on this earth.

Bill and Melinda Gates started a charity foundation and donated around $3,000,000,000 (that's three billion dollars) to rid India of Polio, the country hasn't seen a case of Polio since. What have you done for your fellow man? Bill Gates is known as one of the most charitable people in Silicon Valley, any kind of praise he gets is well-deserved.

You all really need to kill all hopes of a steam release. Every Xbox Exclusive Play Anywhere game has been Windows Store only. I doubt MCC will be different. Assuming we even see a PC release. I also don't get the hate for it as I've not had any issues with the better optimized games.

Microsoft didn't start becoming shitty until Gates left, though. And at least Microsoft was broken up to keep them from gaining a monopoly. Now it doesn't seem like that's ever going to happen for another company, even though it needs to.
