That's really confusing. I did that exactly with Atmosphere's latest base and it did nothing.

I just did Kosmos to see if that'd fix it (first I'd heard of it)

Kosmos lets it boot and do...something. Sept comes up, it flashes some dialogue quickly and then my switch shows the NINTENDO logo. After that, the logo fades out and my Switch stops responding to anything...

did you get the latest release of kosmos? I know the first one was buggy

With the latest atmosphere, I copied everything onto the sd card and launched fusee-primary through hekate 4.6, dunno if that will help

I grabbed whatever the latest release of Github was after your post. V11-10-2 apparently.

I can boot into normal 7.0.0 just fine. Just not CFW version of it.

Trying to inject fusee-primary.bin through Hekate gives a "failed to detect target firmware" error.

I meant to update to 7.0.0 and then 7.0.1 since I wasn't sure if I could go straight to 6.2 to 7.0.1.

Does this one not support 7.0.0 and only 7.0.1?

I wiped those folders, but no luck. I'll try again, deleting everything but a select few. For my own sanity.

4gb file limit. Use USB install to bypass the filesize with larger nsp files ;)
Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Gonna need about 30 minutes to transfer from and probably another 30 to transfer to. I'll give an update once I'm able to do all that.

Well I guess I'll try here:
I'm currently on 0.7.1, AMS 0.8.4, latest sigpatches installed.
When I launch any kind of USB installation (be it Tinfoil 0.2.1/1.0 or Goldleaf 0.5/latest nightly) when it is connected to my macOS 10.14.3 machine via USB, it crashes to BSOD.
As long as I do not select the "Install over USB option" in those, the software keeps working
Without USB plugged in everything works fine, like installing from SD.
As I see more and more threads popping up about USB installation working I am wondering what could be the issue with my specific setup.
Is a macOS related driver issue a possibility?

1) Choose the exfat update (because why not) but use your sd card in fat32 to avoid corruption issues with exfat

2) You can manually enter wifi settings when setting up an internet connection to the switch in which case you can define dns then before it connects for the first time. But you must do manual setup

Hi everyone!

I have an hackable switch and I am planning to use a cfw on it. These are my questions:

1) How should I format it? fat32 or exfat?
2) What model / brand do you suggest?
3) I am planning to buy a jig on ebay.co.uk. Is there a model you suggest?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1) exfat for making a nand backup then fat32 (format with guiformat) for everyday use
2) any high speed trusted reliable card brand (samsung for instance) and buy from a reputable seller
3) Any trusted reliable seller. Mine came with a little keyring attached and works fine so maybe look for that one?
