Homebrew Is there an ftp app that actually doesn't crash while transferring data?

Been using ftpb and it's just garbage it takes me like two hours just to successfully transfer over TWLight++ updates

Most of the time it's these that I come across while I'm using it:

20kb/sec
Upload Failed
Lang.Exception error
Illegal Byte error

Is there a better ftp app that doesn't do that like on the vita?

FTPD is the best there is and only reason for you to be getting errors is that either your internet connection is VERY bad (you should be getting like 200KB/s) or you have a faulty/corrupted SD card and it's causing issues.

Besides those, it may just be the FTP connection from your computer's side, what program are you using? I use FileZilla and never had issues despite having pretty bad connection and all...

My internet is 10mb/sec so it's not that

How would I have a faulty or corrupted sd card if the 3DS can read it without any errors. Mind Blown.

I use my android device

I take it you didn't know a fake or faulty SD card still functions but not for long term reliability transferring and holding data without corruption.

It's like drinking from a cup with pinholes. These holes can be at the bottom or side walls. You can still drink your favorite beverages but will never be able to fill that cup to the brim and expect to drink it all.

Where the analogy differs is that you can clearly see a spill left behind from a broken cup... Bad flash memory that losses or corrupts data is harder to detect such "leaks".

Except my card has been working since 2016 so you fail

I have been using FTPd for a long time now and it works very well (if you ignore the connection problems which are not caused by FTPd itself). You are clearly doing it wrong if it works for everyone else, your router is garbage or you are using incompatible FTP clients. Fix your shit before accusing the homebrew app and answering to people wanting to help you in an unfriendly manner.

The length of time you've owned an SD card isn't the correct way of determining if it is fake or faulty. The best way to check this is by using a program like H2testw. Some people get the wrong impression that real SD cards and flash drives last forever. Good ones have reasonable long service life, but some do and will fail either prematurely from manufacturer's defect or naturally from day-to-day wear and use.

The only person who meets that failure criteria is you, @mario-lucis-caelum.
How disappointing to see that you still haven't learned an ounce of common courtesy and how to respect others.

Edit - Had to lower case the letter "m" from Mario to mario. I @ called the wrong person, lol.

I was just using the microsd manager. The built in one on the settings. Then use finder or windows explorer to transfer files. Worked great.

@mario-lucis-caelum As we all told you, check your SD card for errors, it may work perfectly fine at first glance but actually having even a tiny little bad sector which is what gets in the way of transferring files. As for bad connection, you claim your connection is a 10MB/s one yet in the OP you said you get ONLY 20KB/s... Do you know how far off those two are from one another? The 3DS on a good connection should be getting at least 300KB/s, so for all we know you might even have a terribly configured router that either blocks FTP connections or something similar, so make sure that's not it either. We've given you a list of possible causes and fixes, now it's up to you to either accept that other people know more about hardware/software than you and try what we've suggested or be a stubborn idiot and stick to SD card readers instead...

Learn to read. I said 20kb/sec happens along with the other errors. Doesn't necessarily mean I get 20kb/sec everytime. I usually get 1mb to 1.5mb. The transfer stopping is what always happens.

HOW does that contradict what I said? You didn't even say anything about getting 1MB/s ANYWHERE in your posts... Low speed while using FTP means exactly what I said, bad configuration. You are the one that should learn to read instead. If you are getting terribly low speeds when transferring files through FTP it's either the SD card or the FTP configuration, so no matter what you do, unless you check those two things, it won't matter what homebrews you use to do the transfers.
