How exactly do you get this to work? Do you need a specific version of FBI? All I'm getting is the error below on all cia

Failed to install from URL.
http://192.168.0.XXX:8080/x.cia
Result code: 0xD820A069
Level: Permanent (27)
Summary: Nop (1)
Module: HTTP (40)
Desc: Requested timed out (105)

Yep it does that for me it took me like 20 odd attempts before it worked with the cia I tried.

Worked fine for me after I set the port to another number (e.g. 1337). Also, make sure to choose the right network adapter (your PC IP) and copy CIAs to your C:\ hard drive (it doesn't seem to work with CIAs on external HDDs?)

Well, it doesn't really work now does it?
It was sorta disappointed to see that any of the forks of SocketPunch is no longer supported by FBI, and then going digging for a new tools. And then somewhere along the lines it turns out Boop really doesn't work either(no way to port scan either).
And so it was back to FTP, which is a gigantic buggy mess.
Such is life

In case anybody wonders how to make this work: You must have FBI open on the 3DS, go to "Remote Install" and then "Receive URLs over the network" before you click "Bloop" on the PC software.

Tried it out myself, not very useful after 2.0

2.0 is very bad with file transfer, and errors out apparently 20:1 times.

Downgraded to 1.4 which works without any hastle, however, the install speed is far below direct transfer. Network capable of 10 MB/s DL and a solid Megabyte Upload, but only uploads/downloads at a dismal rate of 300 KB/s. An SD card will transfer, on write to 15 MB/s, normal DS install is 1 MB/s, in time comparrison, boop has an install time of a 2 GB file of 4 hours practical, while the old drag and drop to sd card is under 2 hours. SO long as you don't plan on using your 3DS that day, it is a functional way to install software. If you intend to have a system that can be played, leave it in the recycle bin.

It becomes a viable option once the speed of "booping" is better than the combined duration of switching SD card, copying cia file to SD card, switching SD card again, and then installing via FBI. Right now I'm using it to install smaller files.

I'm using FBI 2.5.0 (haven't updated yet) and i haven't had any issues with version 2.0 so far. Nice to see that it supports the switch also!
Great work and thanks!
