Same here. Only cared to also play retro games on my Switch, not pirated Switch games.
I heard early on that the exploit for the switch was such that nintendo couldn't fix it with firmware updates? Is this true? Or will the switch (released before july) always be hackable but the hacks not always be able to play games?
The exploit can't be patched as it's a HARDWARE flaw, not a SOFTWARE flaw. As such, any system released before June-July will always be hackable

Yes because that is indeed software. Even in the Ipatched units that surfaced recently, you can still enter RCM via the hardware exploit, you just can't launch any unsigned software. This firmware update is a lil different as it changes the way keys are generated

i mean if reiNX no longer felt like working on that that may throw a hickkup into things but otherwise no.
