OFW only: I have a couple of purchased eShop games (not like that matters). Before I log off completely for the day, I deactivate my account from the eShop settings. My account will be in good use on another Switch in case my Switch is banned. This tip should be used since Nintendo will not help transfer accounts to another Switch.

I think that purchases keep your switch unbanned. I only played xci backups with cert too, but when i upgraded to 5.1 I deleted all my logs and started using the eshop buying titles and playing totally clean without cfw.

I think that eshop purchases makes them give yoi another chance.

Installed 1.4 SX OS on switch 4.1 then accidently updated.
Bought SX OS pro and now i'm on SX OS 1.5 with a 5.x switch.
I'm using xci games only but never go online with them. However, while playing a xci game, visited eshop and downloaded game updates.

It stops crash reports from being sent to Nintendo by funneling them to your SD card instead. This will only reduce bans due to having illegitimate error codes or clearing error logs.

i just tried SX-OS several days ago, after activating the license online via switch, i backup my NAND right away, and i only tried to play one .xci games when offline,
after that i go ofw with my legit games, i want to know whether activating sx os via online connection in the switch will result in ban or not. i will update if i got banned / 1 month from now.

I've been making cheap purchases via the Mexican eShop, at random intervals. Maybe purchased 3 games in the last month. Like a dollar each. I've been 'testing' this theory. Though I doubt it's what has prevented me from being banned, despite being pretty reckless w/ my console (though no LayeredFS or log clearing).
