If two different unique cert ID's are online at the same time (this is impossible) Nintendo will know and they will be the cart and possibly the consoles using that ID.

Yes they will ban, it is impossible for 2 people to use the same cert online, that is why each cartridge has a different cert so people dont pirate things but if you break it, nobody else will be able to use that cert, only you

ok but nobody else has the the cert from my preowned game, I did this the first day waindumper released, I bought the preowned games like in first week of June something, just enough to return it for full refund

Well then tell me, how else are you not supposed to get banned without the possiblity of another person trying to get the same cert as me when I return the game and both of us get banned?
Buy the game and don't return it. If you pirate, you acept you can be banned. Don't f*** others up because of your selfshness.

Returning them is a **** move its why i ruin the cart and return it instead, no sense in getting some random 8 year playing splatoon 2 banned.

Let me get this straight - you are buying used games, backing them up and then deliberately destroy and return them to get your money back, leaving your game retailer with a broken copy and no money for it?
That is extremely low, even for GBATemp standards.
No, destroying goods and thus scamming your shop to get your money back is the asshole move. At least be honest and say that you do not care the least about some random 8 year old, but only about yourself.

25 years ago, we could just make a copy of a cassette from a close friend to listen music, we returned the cassette, and everything was good, piracy, as we know it now, was nearly inexistent those days.
Now i see people "Buying" games, "Copying" them, "Destroying" them and "Returning" them for a refund, just wow.
Do you guys have any morals at all?

1. If two people use the same game ID online, will their switch get banned at the same time?
2. Can Nintendo ban a legit cart cert from online play?

1) Possibly if anything the cart or cert wont be able to go online anymore
2) I want to say yes but I use SX OS and the pro dongle and have not had any ban so far I only connect online after I inject the game to the cartridge slot
