[Release] HiyaCFW - World's FIRST Nintendo DSi CFW!

Here it is, the first DSi CFW!

(NOTE: Since hiyaCFW has been released a few days ago (as of posting this), and no official thread has been made, I decided to go and make it, despite not making the actual patches for it. :P )

With this CFW, you can run custom DSiWare, alongside region free and 3DS-exclusive DSiWare (WarioWare Touched), on your SD card, via NAND to SD redirection!
You can also run blocked flashcards (such as R4 Ultra).

FAQs
Q: Can I use a custom splash for hiyaCFW?
A: Yes you can. Place it at "sd:/hiya/" and name them "splashtop.bmp" and "splashbottom.bmp". Make sure they're actually saved as .bmp files, with the size of 256x192, with no color space info, and is 16-bit (A1 R5 G5 B5, or X1 R5 G5 B5). .gif files will also work instead of .bmp files.

Finally got this installed! It’s been a long wait for us Japanese DSi owners but we’re finally there!

Probably won’t make DSiMenu++ my main system menu until the Japanese character support gets fixed though. Half my games have garbled names.

if i go into settings and turn on wireless communication, when i exit back to menu, i get an error has occured press and hold etc etc

it's not hiya cfw since I can run DSi Menu Plus Plus "boot.dsi" just by changing the command and starting hiyacfw configured etc that error me and eh nothing installed nothing but the hiyacfw

Did you end up getting it working? You haven't responded to the GitHub issue (assuming you're thomleg50, going off of similar problem and similar grammar/username)

TWLNF backup is not their problem in this case. You can see from an image they provided on the GitHub issue (https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/26003687/41794634-dcc55aaa-7657-11e8-9869-ba9fff302a3c.png) that they somehow dropped the .exe file extension off of TWLTool, so the script couldn't find it. Keep note that the error shown translates to "The system cannot find the file specificed."
Typically when TWLTool fails at this stage, it's due to the lack of a footer in the backup, so the script assumes that it's the issue. The script also assumes that TWLTool is properly in the directory as it's part of the For PC directory. If it can't find TWLTool, an exception's raised at the same spot.

For what it's worth, the guide doesn't have TWLNF anymore anyways, because it was found that some of the Stage2 bootloader errors were TWLNF's fault during SDNAND creation- something that the manual instructions would have helped with. It has been replaced with the latest commit of fuse-3ds as well as OSFMount, with fwtool 2.0 (and yes, including that dreaded nocash footer) for dumping.

Actually, NAND backups are one of the things that TWLNF does properly... but that's probably because it's a fork of fwtool :P

hey guys again!

Now I get an error after the splashscreen of hiyacfw: An error occured. Press and hold the power button to shut down the dsi...
What should I do?

EDIT: I tried replacing system menu with dsimenu++ too. No success

Does Flipnote Studio not come preinstalled? I don’t think my DSi LL has ever been online yet I have it.

is there a way to restore flipnote? i bought my dsi xl used so the previus owner have problaly deleted it, or i might have also deleted it
