Are you sure? I think the OS code comes with the USB Dongle of Pro version. So the redeem code isn't need for Pro buyers.

You won't receive the dongle or jig, if you only buy the OS, also the SX OS won't come that faster than SX PRO as we think. Also my seller 3ds-flashcard confirms me about that.

A: Not necessarily. SX Pro will be shipped in the days to come to distributors. SX OS will be unlocked a bit after the reviewers get their units (all reviewers receive SX Pro).
So depending on the speed of delivery to your distributor and then to you, SX Pro could come before SX OS stand alone. It probably will be very close.

No need to wait for a whole month, if you choose a local seller.
TX will deliver the Pro to resellers around 15th of June, if they don't cheat us, then your local seller will send them to their American or European warehouses, it will take 1 week or so, lastly, they may send SX Pro to you around 20th, so you can get it by the end of June.
The local dealers you can find from https://team-xecuter.com/where-to-buy/, TX take notes for the sites can really ship from US/FR/other countries.

No, you won't get the OS code firstly, you still need to wait for the SX Pro.

launched Oct. 15th and c4eva released the samsung and me released the hacked Hitachi v47 firmwares on may 15th. So only 7 months!

What I’m saying is people think that they
they are gunna get the license days before the dongle. They think that the dongle users are assed out and are gunna have to wait an extra week while the OS buyers are already running the payload this isn’t true.

They said everyone will get both os and the dongle at the same time as close as one day within each other

People who ordered the SX Pro are going to get the SX software with their Pro package. Nobody will be getting their sooner, not unless you really think that resellers are going to start emailing people licenses individually. Because of this, some people just buying the software may get theirs earlier depending on how fast the mail carrier is.

The degree to which people are overthinking this is unbelievable.

Hey @garyopa odd question, but are you able to provide any details on the durability and overall feel of the dongle? Is it something I should treat a bit more careful than usual?

Those who bought the Pro pack will only get the dongle and the jig. You will download the SX OS payload from the website. If you have a dongle, you can activate the SX OS on the Switch or website without anything else. Those who purchased the SX OS by itself will be emailed a license code to input into the Switch or on the website in order to get their license.

This is why those who ordered SX OS didn't need to pay for shipping.

Correct me if I'm wrong, because it was a bloody long time ago, the work was done on the XB Original but never really released and made it a whole lot easier when the 360 hit? I just remember buying a floppy drive, flashing my 360 and hiring games like a crazy man til it RRoD'd not long after, threw it in the cupboard and grabbed a new one

(still have soooo many 360s :'()

Probably the japan release of the PSP (1.00 firmware) which had no protection in blocking the running of unsigned eboots. Also the dreamcast which you just run burnt games with no modification.

I don't have a Switch and will only buyone when I can run CFW in a simple way. What's simpler right now? This or Atmosphere? And for those who can't install Atmosphere because they've updated, can they run this one and then install Atmosphere somehow?

TX's modchip is definitely simpler, its designed for people who want a quick and dirty way to play backups/homebrew. Also, Atmosphere is also supported on all firmwares so you can't update to an unsupported firmware since it is 'installed' via a hardware exploit. And yes, they have stated that you can swap payloads using their dongle so you are not stuck loading their CFW.

but atmosphere is open source you can literally watch as it is being worked on.

Well, that's cool then. I wish I could use something like Luma though. I always prefer the free open source method, but it's taking more time and it's not as simple, from what I've seen.

If 15 months is too long for you then you weren't around in the 3DS days very long. Luma is the culmination of about 2-3 years of 3DS hacks merging and evolving, and that's not counting the couple of years after it's initial release it took before open-source hacks were even available for it.

yah, but either you need to understand code, which i haven't even looked at since 2004 or need to compile and run on your own switch. i'm not too fluent in all that. i'm surprised no one else has posted any updates on progress....i mean, i do follow scirezM on twitter.
