Team-Xecuter Demos SX PRO and OS working fully on v5.1.0 Switch

Its only been a couple of days, since the exclusive pics of TX factory, and now we have a brand-new demo video from the SX team!

Welcome to one of the last Team Xecuter announcement before we let the reviewers take over!

As promised, here is a new video of our latest SX OS running games and homebrew under 5.1.0. This is pretty close to what you will have in the V1.0 of SX OS. But we are still working...

As a quick fact update, during our latest tweaking before launch, we now have 10 (instead of original 5) successive boots without the opportunity to auto recharge. Standby time remains the same (approximately 1 week) and battery drainage has been dropped from 25mA to 13mA while console is awake and dongle plugged in.
  • Q: Can I play my Switch running SX OS while being docked?
    A:     Absolutely. You just need to have it undocked when you power up your Switch to load SX OS. Once done, dock it and play for as long as you don't completely power it off again.
  • Q: I know I'm asking too much and it's early, (sorry) would it be possible to get Bluetooth audio (or even Bluetooth controller) support within the CFW.
    I know a lot of people would dig that on other forums (including a clean internet browser that has YouTube unblocked) if this is possible?
    A:     If it is doable, we will try. Please read text below about such requests, you are fully entitled to request anything, we will do our best in order of user's most wanted features.
We receive hundreds of email daily with hundreds of request/suggestions. We thank you for them. We do not reply to everyone, although most people do receive a reply, but rest assure we read them all. And we take note. We have requests for emunand, Nand back up, themable SX OS, soldered version... the list goes on!

SX OS and its affiliated products (first one being SX Pro) are a work in progress. You paid not only for a device but also for support.
And we will bring it to you. Most on demand or important features will be added first, some are already being worked on as you read this, and we will take it step by step.

I've heard multiple people say "Atmosphere will have a backup loader in minutes after release", but Hekate has been around for a while now and still no backup loader for it. I know one will come, but I also think one could have been made by now for Hekate if that was the case... Just thinking out loud here.

Hekate is not true CFW it only has the custom loader from Atmosphere. It can be defined as CFW, but it does not give any further control over the OS compared to what Atmosphere will enable. Apple and oranges.

Minus those on 1.0.0, ReSwitch stated that finding untethered solution is close to impossible.
What those on 4.1.0 can find is a solution to enter RCM without the jig.

Seeing as you are 4.1.0 and not 1.0.0, you will need a computer/Phone if you are not using XS Pro...

Yes, Deja Vu is a softmod.

We don't know much about how it works, but we do sort of know what steps we need to do. It will work like nspwn on 3.0.0: You boot normal, open the browser navigate to a website and click a button that will reboot into CFW.

No need for PC / Phone / Cable / RCM / Pegaswitch. but this is only possible on <--- 4.1.0

No, you are mixing terms:

Untethered exploit: Anything that does not require a second device

Untethered COLDBOOT exploit: It boots str8 into CFW.

What Scires said was that the methods now will require user input and thus not coldboot, but rather warm boot.

Stary confirmed this on Discord.

It appears I may have mistaken it.
Though, please link that information, cause I'm not aware of any Untethered exploit in the first place.

Your post with the picture of SciresM's post is exactly what I was referring to:

1. He says we have softwarehax up to 4.1.0.
2. Those hax have full privilege (EL3 Trustzone is compromised)
3. They require user action (so not coldboot)

When you have compromised trustzone you can run CFW.

and no I am not trolling, you have just no done your homework.

Here's where I'm at. I've been hoping for a coldboot (the main reason I'm still on 4.1.0).. And I am planning buy SX OS as soon as its released.. Should I just give up and update to 5.1.0? Since I've been dying to try mario tennis demo.. And frankly I'd rather have the phone method with auto rcm than all that browser stuff since I have my phone with me at all times and my switch case has a USB Cable in at all time.. So I don't see a situation where I'll NEED to be untethered unless its a convenient coldboot.

One more question, you'e on autorcm with TX Pro and the battery completely dies.. What happens? Can I charge without booting into fw?

This is exactly what I wanted to see! You have sold me your product yes I have ordered one from R4card.co.uk. I must admit I think it looks the bollocks/great!

Thought I edited that out when i realized you were talking about something else.
In anycase, sorry then.

I guess since you have manually enter work to enter CFW, TX only advantage is that it out sooner and that it doesn't need internet (correct me if i'm wrong here).
Good for road trips or playing on the go.
