On my N3DS, I can never enable the plugin loader. I open the Rosalina menu, scroll down to "Enable plugin loader (disabled)," and press A, but the touchscreen sometimes has black lines flickering around, and the plugin loader never changes to "(enabled)." Am I missing something?

I have tried the versions based on Luma 8.1.1 and Luma 9.0, and both of them have this problem. My N3DS is on firmware 11.2 (with some newer system titles to spoof the version to 11.6).
Last I checked you must be on firmware 11.4 or higher as it's a requirement, so I'd suggest upgrading your 3DS.
you need to be using the custom Luma build by Nanquitas that has the plugin loader built into it. updating your Luma with the updater puts you back on an official build that does not have the launcher

Actually you're both right.

You need the custom boot.firm and be on a fw >= 11.4.
I was too lazy to port all the offsets for lower firms (and I don't see the point to be on a lower firm either).

I've been trying to launch the ActionReplay.plg, which I put in luma/plugin/ActionReplay/, but I can't seem to get it to work: whenever I press Select, nothing shows up. Same goes for when I put it in the TitleId folder with the cheats.txt alongside it. I can use the TitleId.txt when putting it in a cheats folder on the root of my SDCard, but then I have to navigate through Rosalina menu for them to activate. (Dunno if that's normal?)

I've been trying to use another cheat as plugin.plg (ultraSuMoFramework) set up in luma/plugin/titleId/
but nothing seems to show up there either, when pressing select. I tried working with NTR too (by disabling the plugin loader and placing the files in the correct folders) but that didn't seem to work either.
I'm probably doing things totally wrong here, so any help would be appreciated :D

Quick question, when I add cheats to the favorites it's there. But the next time I boot up they're not there anymore. Is this normal? If so is there a way to make them stay?

Does anybody here by chance have codes for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D that work with this? - preferably PAL ones.
The only Codes I could find were for the NRT cheat Plugin that had the UI of V1.0.

Can you implement a feature like automatically download a plugin for the opened game for future update? Just like what Epsxe and drastic did on android.

This sounds great,but I don't think it would be practical as it would have to have on the fly access as well as more ram.

Actually, something like this is trying to happen, though I don't think it's going to be native to CTRPF. In a related thread, there's a database being built of plugins. It's there that there's a mention of being able to download plugins straight to your 3DS. I'd link but I'm busy and don't remember which thread. It might actually be linked to in OP.

You are talking about sharkive, and yes it will not be native to CTRPF at all. There are currently codes in the DB that have connections to CTRPF but as time goes on those will be reworked for gateshark which is what sharkive is going to be native to.

I've recently experienced some slowdown when finding cheats, even crashing constantly, is there a reason for this? I haven't changed much regarding the plugin (I don't remember if I updated it) are there any reasons for this to start happening? sorry I can't offer that much info, it's been a long time since I used the AR option, I just remember it being way faster.

Basically the same that are available in the v1 ntr cheat plugin (max lvl after battle, max money, no fall damage, moon jump, etc.) and, if those exist, max affinity chart for all characters and full collectopaedia, those would be nice to have.
I have the V1.1 of the game.

Probably your SD Card (speed is relative to the SD card writing speed - 3DS is kinda lame on that).

Sorry to keep you waiting on the next update guys, I have to fix some issues discovered and I'm really busy recently.
Worst case scenario, I'll upload the current version this weekend, and make an update asap to fix bugs.
Also, I think that next release will be released on github to make use of the issue tracker.

thanks, It's weird because I have the same SD card and pretty much the same setup, I've also noticed that sometimes the green progress bar of the Search option fills instantly, but results keep appearing, it's kinda weird, I'll try different sd cards, perhaps mine is slowly dying.

So for some reason a select few games (which were working with thier plugins just fine) now crash everytime I launch them with the loader enabled. But launch just fine with it disabled, other games work just fine with it enabled. Not sure what could've changed...

Hi, I need a help. I can use the search function, search for a value, and change the value directly from search menu. But I can't make the value into an action replay code. Every time I activate the code that I had just made, itit always gave me an error and the 3ds would shut on itself.

My question is, is there any way to make an action replay code from value that have been searched?

Short answer: yes, but it depends on the code
Long answer: We would need very specific information to see what's causing the crash. For starters, what's the game? What's the value being frozen? What are you freezing the value at? How does the value interact with other parts of the game? There's a reason some codes that seem like they should be simple wind up being very long. You have to find workarounds or displace the code to get the desired result. More often than not, the desired result is much more complicated than "find single value and freeze at desired integer". Just take a look at some of the codes ymyn writes. Most of the ones I've used are him writing to empty memory and then inserting that code into a different part of the memory.

Hopefully this gives you a better idea of why you're running into this issue. I don't write code myself, but I understand how a lot of it works, so I may be able to point you in the right direction.
