Maybe I'm confused, but what exactly do they look like?
I've never used them on RA x3 Where do we download the overlays?
I did try downloading them through the online updater but they didn't show, So I ended up downloading them manually https://buildbot.libretro.com/assets/frontend/overlays.zip and extracting the Zip into the Retroarch folder on SDMaybe I'm confused, but what exactly do they look like?
They look good on the TV and there's quite a few to choose from so you have to experiment to find one to your liking
I mainly look through the Scanline Overlays but soon I'm going to look into the Arcade overlays --------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
A.B Cop runs fine this side on the FBA Core mate, make sure you have the correct Romset for FBA

They work fine for me using the latest FBA Core? 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003? Make sure you have the Correct Romset?

What is the best way to update without the hassle of losing current game settings? I always use the WiiU menu channel.
I'm guessing replace old cores with new cores but are there any old files I should delete that may hinder functionality?

If you want to keep your settings you can just not delete the cfg files in the Retroarch folder on SD when overwriting but really I think its better to delete Cfg files when updating just incase it causes errors.
Also make sure not to delete your save/savestates accidentally when updating

I cant seem to get the Arcade Bezel overlays to work on the WiiU, They look like they have to be setup differently to the standard overlays?
Also is there no Neo-Geo CD Core for the WiiU? Apparently there is a way to do it through Mame with CHD's?
Once you've extracted the overlays.zip to a location of your choice on your SD Card boot up the game you want to play..
Then open the Ingame Menu and navigate to Settings>Onscreen Display>Onscreen Overlay>Overlay Preset..
Then browse to the location where you extracted the Overlay.zip and select what ever Overlay you want
