You should upgrade to arc13's version, that's the new "offical" version

I just updated to the newest v3.1.1, which was released by ark13 four days ago. Does it fix the music issues?

Also, it seems like the freeShop now has customizable themes?

No, the music issue is not fixed yet, I'll ask him if he can look into it. And yes, freeshop has custom themes

Also, does the 3DS have a hard limit of 300 Playcoins? No way to get 999 Play Coins? Is the gimme300coins.cia the fastest way to go from 0->300?

You can download them from freeshop discord (though none are available yet)

The 300 play coin limit is hard coded, and that CIA looks like it's the fastest way. Also good tip: The JKSM CIA has a play coin setter option

The cia you want is jk's save manager. It has the option of setting playing coins to whatever you want aswell as the save feature

So on one of my 3DSes, I'm trying to dump the DSP. Can I just DSP1 .cia instead of DSPDump? The latter is giving me an error

freeshop should automatically get the latest cache, you don't need to hold any buttons

It does it automatically. No file needed. If it needs anything it will download it itself.

Here's my predicament. I updated my old 3ds to 11.4, I wanted to get homebrew on it. It has no CFW at all but everything seems to be patched. I have in my arsenal , a old 2ds (version) 11.3.36, which I have homebrewed using soundhax. And a powersave pro. What can I do using the 2ds to get homebrew on my olds 3ds version 11.4. The boot9 hack isn't very clear using dsiware it seems to be my only option but I have no idea how to begin.

First, take your 2DS and follow the guide to get b9s installed. Obviously, don't update it until after b9s is installed. Take the 3DS and start the guide over for it, it will walk you through dsigamehax and doing a system transfer, then setting up b9s.

Alternatively, move the 2ds to b9s with the guide and keep playing on it. Put the 3ds aside. Wait for ntrboothax, grab a compatible ds, and use it to mod the 3ds without a system transfer.
