What about "Soundhax"? If the "new" firmware is not based on 11.4 theoretically should work.

That's now how it works, it probably has the same patches as 11.4, with some added stuff

Well, doodlebomb was patched, not sure about freakyhax, and ninjahax works

Well that's something at least...

(Edit) actually im pretty shure that startup notifications are kept in firm.bin as turning the system on without the ad card still gives them to you, same thing with updating the firm, like when 9.2 got themes.

So I'm pretty shure that the way that they change between system is that each system has flags telling what notifications to give

A good way to test this would be to take an og 3dsxl and put it on a firm BEFORE the xl came out, I'm pretty shure you would get the notifications for an og 3ds...

The only thing that bothers me about the New 2DS XL (besides the lack of 3D) is the Freaking camera. How the fuck am I gonna use that if it's in the backplate?

Just one thing to note down here: Any game-specific exploit requires me to own the game as a Dev Unit-installable CIA file.
Ninjhax 1.x worked for me on an older firmware (the regular 3DS attached to the Partner-CTR Debugger/Capture), but 2.x didn't on any firmware, for example.

Rotate the system to the side until the screen is almost parallel to your eyes, preferably with a dark as possible screen (as in dark colors). This severe angle should reveal serious color fading if it is TN, IPS otherise.

There's the SaveDataFiler app, which is being distributed by Nintendo.
However, save files must be made on a Dev Unit, I remember installing a save file of Mario Kart 7, somebody made for me on a retail 3DS, and it didn't allow me to install it.

Here are some photos of multiple angles, I hope that helps (I tried to make my room as dark as possible for this).

Thanks, it looks like the 'New' Nintendo 2DS XL is using TN panels (Notice the internet enabled/disabled icon is all washed out)

...Unless the 'panel lottery' is in effect once again

Yep, those are TN screens (aka lower quality screens). About savedatafiler, she can just install FBI and use it (it needs to be converted to dev mode tho, which I can make). But I don't think hax payloads will work as they may need the right adresses to be patched.

All the recent XL I saw were TN. All the Pikachu ones I saw were TN. Black Friday small ones were all TN too.
