Yeah. Only thing, that doesn't work is hbl with clock+l2 enabled, but that is also fixed with Luma nightlies.Without any consequence? Because I'm afraid to update and find out later there's things I can't do. and I should update from settings right?
With Luma, yes.Hello!
Is it possible to run out of region digital titles such as the Japanese version of Flipnote Studio?
Install a9lh first, then do a system transfer. The guide will tell you when to keep the important files.Hi!
I've just bought an N3ds xl to replace my old 3ds on 11.3, I've installed homebrew launcher an I was wondering if there is a way to make a safe backup of whatever it's needed in case I mess things up (nand, original firmware...)
I want to transfer my files from the 11.3 to the new console as well, do I have to do this before or after installing the CFW?
any tips are welcome since I'm a bit scared of bricking the new console...
thank you!
You can use CTR-httpwn. However it would be easier to just install a9lh then update. Https://3ds.guide/So, I'm on 11.2 firmware and want to use pokebank but I can't because it asks me to update
Is there anyway to get around it?
Make a save in your game, then use JKSM to make a backup of it. Look on your SD card to see where it puts the bin file. Then put yours in the same place, and use JKSM to restore it.Hey guys,
I got a savefile for Dragon Quest 8 and want to inject it into my 3ds. I use emunand luma3ds and want to inject it by using savefile injector. The savefile i want to inject is a.bin file. So i don't know how to convert it. Is it even possible?
any help is welcome
You can't use Gateway. It will strip a9lh since it has no firm protection.Without any consequence? Because I'm afraid to update and find out later there's things I can't do. and I should update from settings right?
https://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-the-emunand-save-data-mega-guide-gbatemp-doesnt-deserve.378491/Where do I find explanation and definitions of simple terms like SysNand, Emunand, etc.? I successfully installed Luma3ds a while ago but I don't understand anything and I want to learn more about the technical aspect.
Don't use Gateway. Follow https://3ds.guide/where do i put the gateway files on my SD card

Like which thread I post on??yes, but it depends where you sell it
You have to have 100 posts to use the trading section of the site. You can't sell it in any random thread here.Like which thread I post on??
I want to update from GW11.2 to Luma3DS.
Do I start from the SafeCTRTransfer portion of the tutorial? And do I have to backup the installed .cia files and saves I already have?

its normal for the console to not boot without a sd card. Also, do you have your emunand backup? So here is my predicament... I followed Plailect's guide to install arm9loaderhax. Everything went fine. I moved my emu files into the sysNand. When it rebooted it went directly into my menuhax. I exited that and ended up into the system where it looked like my old emuNAND, including games and so forth. When I went back into menuhax to stop it from autobooting into it, I accidentally hit install and it reinstalled it. Ever since I cannot access Luma. It goes directly in to sys 9.2 and all my games and such are gone. When I go into menuhax to access luma it stays on a black screen. I can access Godmode and Luma set up by holding start and select. I have since deleted my emunand as per the tutorial. I have tried using luma 5.2 (Still didn't work) I re-restored the sysNAND. I cant get the 3ds to boot without an SD card. I tried deleting the luma config file and re-setting it up. I have a old3ds. I am running out of ideas. All these steps I read off other threads or the troubleshooting on Plailect's guide. It seems I cannot emulate cfw anymore. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
damnit! No I just followed the tutorial and it didnt say to back it up. I know I should of. I just didn't think about it because it wasn't brought up. I'm pretty sure I only backed up the sysNAND like it said. Am I screwed?! Thanks for the response.its normal for the console to not boot without a sd card. Also, do you have your emunand backup?
replace arm9loaderhax.bin with the one from safea9lhinstallerI was restoring my NAND.bin since I'm going to be selling my 3ds and after I formatted my SD card (mistake). It wouldnt boot (just flash blue) so I placed arminstaller and it now goes to that menu. But how do I get this back to the OFW. I have both the nand.bin and it.bin. Thanks
