To be honest, I'd probably just resell it and buy one that's on a lower firmware while they're still widely available.

I am using Luma3DS with bootmanager and whenever I pick the path with Luma3DS it freezes for some reason. I change the path as

title = "Luma3DS";

path = "/Luma3DS.dat";

offset = "0x12000";

But it still freezes.

hey fellas need some help..
I'm on O2DS running Emunand 11.2 (Aureinand) and SysNAND 9.2.

I have issues installing unsigned CIA's on Emunand with FBI through the H&S app which is odd since It is supposed to install any CIA files right. I can only install legit CIAs even in emunand...

Anyways to find a solution decided to update to Luma ( about damn time I know) and followed the update guide on github ( replaced arm9loaderhax.bin , copied "hax folder" to sd root, renamed "aurei" folder to "luma") and now when I boot my DS I get the usual menuhax startup and aureinand still shows up on the menu. I press A and it automatically shuts down my DS...Sigh
It's the same effect everytime.....I hold down L during reboot and sysNAND loads fine if that is useful in any way for you guys.

EDIT: Renamed "luma" back to "aurei" and it works fine again. So the second question is how to properly update to latest luma.

Any advice on both issues?

Do you have the "arm9loaderhax.bin" in the root of your SD card?

Delete your current configuration file. A lot has changed since AuReiNAND. You just need to download the latest files and replace the current ones you have. From there, it should promote you to edit your configuration.
But I do suggest checking out A9LH as well to better future proof your system and be able to ditch that emuNAND

well i got this pretty cheap, i don't think i can get the same value buying another used 3ds. eventually 11.3 will be hackable right? i'm ok with waiting, nothing in 3ds i want to play particulary soon. and im still buried in my backlogged nds games to play

When I turn on my O2DS nothing changes menuhax takes me a menu where I can choose to access various things including Aureinand.dat (even after I deleted Aureinand in my "3ds" folder and replaced it with Luma3DS) and when I choose Aureinand to access EmuNAND it auto shuts down...

I'm on O2DS EmuNAND 11.2 ( Aureinand) and SysNAND 9.2 on 32gb SD.

My SD looks messy as hell as you can see...somebody help

I suspected you were using a boot manager. You need to edit the boot menu entry for AuReiNAND.

I can't boot my dstwo or use anything NDS i just boot into a black screen, I don't get a svcBreak when i use the guide to see if this need doing, Last time i attempted it anyway i managed to brick my console (which i thankfully recovered). Any ideas? does the black screen fix brick your machine anyway and you need to start again - lost all save files last time and dont really want to try it :/

Hello I've got a problem after installing luma (the entire process when right though). I used the FBI injected in Health&Safety to install FBI as .cia, also gblancher_loader and lumaupdater.

At that point everything was still ok,but when I checked my friendlist the console started to freeze. ->Hard reset, now back on the main menu all cias have disappeared but I if try to reinstall .cia probably because theysomehow still exist. ButI can't uninstall them either,same error code as before 0xD9004588 Level permanent (27) Wrong argument (8)Module FS(17) RSA/hash verification failure (392).

I'd like to know how to get cias back andhowto accessmy friend list.

Another question, I was on rxtools until yesterdayand differenciating Sysnand and emunand was easy, it was written black on white. Now when I turn on the console normally parameters say I'm on Sys 9.2.0-20E (updating fixes nothing) and if I press R while booting it says SysE 9.2.0-20E. How do I knowif I actually am on Luma ?

edit:I was on sysnand the whole time, found out I had to press L to enter emunand. Still don't know why the friendlist crashes on sysnand but I don't need it. I'll reinject my old sysnand to gerid ofthe failed .cia installations.

I forgot to thank the people who did luma I don't need internet anymore and that's a cool thing.

I have a problem with Luma and my emuNAND. I was using the app TWLoader and i was in the main menu for a few minutes because i was editing some covers on my PC. When i was done i wanted to take my SD Card out to transfer the covers, I went to the home menu closed TWLoader and it froze. I force shutdown my 3DS and took the SD Card out. I transferred the covers and put it back in. Now i can't boot into emuNAND anymore. When i try to, it just goes through the normal menuhax procedure and then turns off both screens after the red screen. I don't get any error screens or anything. I tried the "I get a black screen on boot" fix but it doesn't boot into emuNAND home menu. I asked a guy on the TWLoader thread and he said Luma sometimes doesn't boot with menuhax, but i already rebooted about 15 - 20 times. I can boot into Luma SysNAND but not emuNAND.
