Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy will be on PS4 first, NOT neccessarily an exclusive title

According to a tweet by Playstation Ireland earlier today, it was reiterated that the Crash Bandicoot remasters will launch on the PS4 and PS4 Pro on June 30th, 2017. However, they also clarified that it was just being released for those consoles first. This heavily implies that the trilogy won't be exclusive to Sony as many of us previously thought.

It should be noted that neither Sony nor Naughty Dog are developing or publishing Crash Bandicoot anymore. The remastered game is being developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. As far as the general public knows, there are no legal restrictions barring them from releasing the game on multiple platforms.

Somehow, the idea that many extreme hardcore nintendo fans have, that games *they* are not interested in, nobody is, is simply too narrow. If the feedback nintendo gets from its fans is that we do not need to be inclusive but rather exclusive then who do you really think burdens the cost at the end? There is a reason why the Wii sold as much and it was not for any other reason than the ability to find any kind of crap on it from absolute shovelware for grandmas wanting to cook with a frying pan accessory, to anything.

I have seen it more than once now, we do not need crash, we do not need racers, we do not need fps games... Yeah right. Cause the whole world just wants to play indies and jap rpg, or jap action rpg with card games and splatoon. Grow up. I dont give the slightest shit about loads of games but if it helps expand the user base and bring people and sales so be it. Not including any possible game at this stage will be Nintendo's final nail in the coffin.

Crash is a very good game for what it is, it never beat Mario64 and it never wanted to. It is a nice, quick, fun platformer that can get tricky and hard, has good graphics for the platform and went on for so many years. It deserves to be played again. If it wasn't for my recent psone grab, i would probably get this.

It'll either mean:
A) It will also be released on PC.
B) It will also be released on Xbox and Switch.
C) All of the above.

I'd love to play Crash Bandicoot on the Switch. :)

Thank god, I have XB1 and need to have crash remastered. It would of been on Wii U had the console been as successful as the original Wii

Crash was good on the PS1, it was a good platformer at the time...

I just can't imagine that even with a fresh coat of paint that the game would hold up these days.

If they did a few tweaks the game would be insanely better though... The side scrolling stages for one thing, if they removed the ability to jump off the platforms front or back. That would make them better games.

That all being said, I still fire ePSXe with filters on and have fun playing Crash 1-3 :)

Is it just that inner Kid in us that crying out for this fast cash grab. Like most games once remaster comes out years later after they are much grown or a teenager they come to realize the isn't as fun as it use to be....like sonic adventure 2..

Guess ill be pirating the pc port then just to run ultra 60fps since i already bought the ps4 port when it first came out
