I thinks last post from @devnoname120 is just to make people to calm down, you know it's like "shut the fuck up" but in very very polite way. but he's right that the project is not dead, probably. :D

or... if the project is really dead, I'm just want to say thank you for eveyone who have done the translations and sadly there's no result of it, but cheer up guys :grog: this just another shit of life to learn so you dont make another shit in the future. oh I mean "shit" is not the project just in case of misunderstanding :)

Yeah, whatever. Since there's no reason for you to visit this thread so I expect you to see yourself out.

Hello everyone,

I promised to let you know if we decided to stop this project at some point. To put things back in perspective, when we started the project the game had no translation whatsoever. Then after some progress on our side, D3P released an English version on the PC and the PS Vita, but not for the PSP so it still made sense to us to continue this project. Now it doesn't, here is why:

As you might now, Coldbird had been working on a .hack//frägment modification that allowed to play it online on a private server. Cheaters came on his server and exploited bugs that were very hard to fix, so he eventually decided to close the server and stop the project. This and his increasing responsibilities (job and family) kinda killed his motivation for scene work. On my side, I bought a PS Vita so I have been able to play the official God Eater 2 in English, and I have been kept busy by other projects (mostly PS Vita-related).

We still held for some time as the project was in an advanced state. But after a few months of stagnation, we knew that we weren't going to put enough energy in the project to finish it.
I would like us to release the unpacker that was created for this project so that someone can continue it if he wishes. It's up to Coldbird.

We would like to thank our translators and the community for the outstanding support and love that they have shown to us. We would also like to apologize for not delivering the patch despite all the anticipation.

Farewell, and don't let your guard down.

EDIT: The translation is accessible by everyone on Transifex. You can download all the resources in a ZIP courtesy of asl98: http://gbatemp.net/threads/god-eate...g-for-translators.386192/page-63#post-7029450

We already knew. But the problem here is...

Why don't you say it sooner?

Why is always like this? waiting for the last second to say something.

I hope you guys give all the translated stuff. It's the least you can do for having us waiting for MONTHS without an update.

PD: Take out you sig or change it.

Great..now listen devnoname120... When someone start project they have liability bez u add diffrent people.. In this project u not able translated....It public project people did hard work too.. Wait 3 years and end for nothing.. There are project they cancel in past but those guys relese atlest beta.... till 3 years we all motivate u keep on keep on and u say yes its on the way... When colbird leave year ago why u not tell clearly everyone u say yes its keep going...problem is not it cancel..... everyone in this word have problems like family or job.. Problem is.. 1) this is public work and open project too their time their hope their efforsts all gone...u not single handed translated this project..... if u say earlier it could better when coldbird leave u must tell and clearly anaylize problem that day 2) in this world lot project cancel but they atlest relese beta or something u never did that so... When this open public project u should relese files for others so may be someone did or finish work.. But just for ur arrogance and putting signing ur name not beta not anything relesed 3) it should be say sooner so people not wait long... Problen is not cancellation.... problem is fooling people and putting them on dark side and playing others hopes and time.... I see lot project cancel but in the end atleast everyone they say it sooner or they relese beta for people or people get something.... This is first project i see where u keeping people on dark side... I always see u login almost each day here and viwing other thread but tell me????? when people asking plz dev atlest reply u never get single second for reply of project problems or anything... U not got single second even u login almost each day... Am not angry or anything and no offence too... But mr devnome120 you are clearly responsible not for project cancel( you cant so its normal it happen not ur fault) but you are clearly responsible for keeping people on dark and playing others hopes........... U always login almost each day u not got single second in 3 years
reply that what going on project.... I see lot project cancel here but u the one who the... Nothing to say....not want abuse or nothing but u really are worst project handler i ever seen... And guys just learn from this as lesson in life and keep going all.... Thanks for all these years with everyone..guys there are lot things in life hope u do well hope see u in other day.. Till dont frustate and keep going with life... Thats it take care everyone... and take care mrdevnoname 120 too and hope in future for god sake u never start any project or if start atlest time by time update prople with relaity so everyone know exact condition of project.... Can you release the translations contributed by the community? How can I get them?
Last Ranker patch (that no one cared about for a long time) well there was one translator rather than many. No hacker cared, so the project ended up being subtitled YouTube videos made by the translator. He released .ass files with his translations and I was able to turn it into a patch.

If you release the text, someone who cares might turn it into a patch later.

The lack of a public tool was why I chose not to contribute to this project.
Let that be a lesson folks: Pilot translation only (like the first level) without a tool, then wait for a tool.

well can't say i'm not disappointed but, well this is life for all of us. we can't always get what we want and push other people to deliver, because they have the rights to decide what they do and what they don't want to do, so sometimes we just have to suck it up and accept it. that's it for my post for now and thank you devnoname, coldbird, and all the translators for working on the project and I appreciate it even if you guys cancel it, so have a nice day and do what you want in your life (as long as it is legal). I still hope for someone to continue this project though.
