Hacking EZFlash Redux. New 3ds flash cart?

They are NOT scammers. The promised the EZ Flash Vi would be compatible with the 3DS, and afaik, it IS. Even if not with a recent version.
Not to mention, even if they did give up on the EZ Vi, it's ONE PRODUCT. So, if someone releases ONE product that doesn't live up to your expectations, the whole brand becomes shit automatically?

mmmm for me is abandon a product , since 4.1 is not compatible , and new NTR launchers dont work with it...so yes...so expensive flashcard , and now an useless piece of shit.

i dont recoment use a EZFLASH product , and less this clone of clones...if you want waste your money for avoid brick risk....use sky3ds (another scammers...but at least his product works flawlesly

So, because ONE flashcart hasn't been updated since <4.1 times, EZ Flash, which has made great products like the EZ Flash IV, automatically becomes a scam. Seems legit.

And again, being a clone is not the same as being bad.

if you sell a flashcard on the end of the useful life of an DS promising that this flashcard will be compatible with the 3DS ...and the compatibility only works until 4.1...yes, for me is a scam.

and doing a Blue 3ds clone (a clone of GW)....thats it a really bad flashcard....yes...is pure trash

The GW is NOT a bad flashcart per se, there's more reason than that as why people absolutely hate Gateway, and there are reasons for not needing one, but it doesn't mean it is bad or a scam.

And hey, they didn't lie when they said it'd work with the 3DS. It *did*.

FYI, I want a Redux. Why? Because I want a 3DS mode flashcart that works like the GW, but I won't give my money to Gateway, or Supercard for a number of reasons. The Sky3DS+ would also be an option, but, it doesn't satisfy my collection needs. Though, I'll eventually try to get one of those, too.

Just a heads up. Like the review states (which you may not understand because its German) the Redux doesnt have a Cheat Menu and not the latest classic mode version (meaning you have to reboot every time you want to play a retail card).

So basically its an very old version of a GW Card.

Huh? Well at least that's a bit more decent then I'd say, I'd be more likely to trust it if gateway can't touch the code. What price is it going for? It may not currently beat Gateway, but I hooe it can succeed it (not that I would know the benefit a cartridge could be over cfw, outside of .3ds support and possible cheat support in future).
Edit: I see, it already supports cheats, albeit, NTR cheats we can already use. Hmm, not interested yet but I'll keep an eye on it, if just to see how it will flourish/grow as a product.

The review on that page sounds like it was made by someone who looked at the features and judged it based on that. The price point is good, even if it's a Gateway clone.
But the fact that it's a Gateway clone through and through sucks because now it'll take Gateway a few more months to push out their next update as they'll begin focusing on bricking. :^)

Here's a bit of inferred commentary. It's likely that EZFLASH's "10.7 support" holds the exact same value as Gateway's, as in, you can use community tools to downgrade to 9.2.

It'd be nice if they could both implement safe_firmlaunchhax seeing as though the original firmlaunchhax is Gateway's exploit and the documentation is there.
This way, they could both advertise as being workable on all firms. (Though they would still need a way to 'get in'. Similarly to the spider exploit.)

Hopefully EZFLASH didn't attempt to reskin Gateway's FAST BOOT, since it's pretty much a waste of space in the menu. Dropping all of Gateway's NAND tools would be
generally pretty good, but not a requirement, just getting rid of unnecessary clutter.

I personally would have thought the whole gateway brick shot would have been more of an eye opener for people to help them realize clone cards are playing a dangerous game, sure you can hate on gw for their brick code, but the point they made still stands, any team that resorts to cloning probably don't fully understand what they are doing (else they would just do their own work and not have to worry about copying dirty code) , and all it takes is for 1 cloned Dev team to get pissed off and go on a bricking spree to prove it,

what people really need to do if they don't like gateway is to avoid gateway and any derivitive clone card, by supporting clone cards you encourage them to make half baked products, and clone teams being entertained is what cause's the real devs to go apeshit and brick consoles (not saying its right, just that as long as people buy clones it gives devs something to fight against instead of focusing on actual dev work, even if it was just trying to block the clone from working)

and how many clones have came and been ditched along the road, sure I could understand if there was a reliable team consistently cloning and keeping up with GW, but so far we have had, R4i,orange3ds,3dslink,MT Card, Blue 3DS, DSTWO+, and now EZFlash join the clone crew, I wonder how many FW's they will attempt to clone before dropping support, meanwhile people who bought a GW can still use their old cart they bought from day 1 if they so wish (beside all the urgh cfw is free arguments which are obvious)

I'm pretty sure it IS the same as GW, but hopefully they don't base themselves on the original GW firmware.

Huh, 36 eur. Not bad. It's not expensive. I'm probably getting one. It does claim to support A9LH, too.
