Did you by chance rename your file extensions to the only supported one? All of my ROM's are ROM.smc, and to use this tool I had to rename them to have the .sfc extension. Example: ROM.smc > ROM.sfc. I did not convert them any way, just used Windows Explorer to rename the extensions. This is all I can come up with. I've tried everything else.I have this same exact issue. I'm on the latest firmware with a9lh+luma installed, trying to run game in sysnand and all I get is a black screen. I'm trying to convert 7th Saga with the balance patch and the english patch for Dragon Quest III, which is a jp rom, but it did the same thing on a stock standard clean US rom of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Of course, whenever I load a game up it gives me a message that the game isn't in the database but appears to be supported, so perhaps that has something to do with it? I'd really appreciate any suggestions, because this is incredibly frustrating for something that should be so simple.

I've had a few actually load details (one of the MK series) and it still just black screens. I'm lost. Gonna try a VM later on tonight. Hopefully that works.Same, but they are literally the same format from all that I've seen, and it was even suggested by Asdolo to just do that until he fixes the bug that doesn't let you select smc. I've tried *numerous* games, including something so basic as Donkey Kong Country only to be told that it's not found in the database, which has *got* to be wrong. If this program has a database that doesn't include Donkey Kong Country then I don't know what kind of crack was smoked when it was created. That leads me to believe that it's a matter of something not functioning properly on my system for some reason. I'm gonna try my laptop and see if I have any better luck with it.
Just checked, it isCan anyone remind me if the release date is on the virtual console sticker (you know, the one in the banner) for snes games?
I think the SNES VC emulator has the original colors and no dark filter.Excellent work as always @Asdolo! Anyway to add the option to disable dark filter like in your NES Injector?
Unfortunately, the SNES VC emulator does not support SA-1 games. You're gonna have to do with a homebrew SNES emulator for now.are you working for a SA1 support like Kirby super star? I love the game but i cant inject it
The emulator does not even provide that option as easy as the NES one does. I think it's possible modifying the code.bin of the VC, but I have no disassembly skills. Is there a way to get fullscreen? That's my only gripe is that there's no option to make the game fit the screen. love the option in the nes injector. BTW, thanks for these amazing tools!
We can debug what's happening with your configuration that makes impossible to play these CIAs, but I'm backing from my holidays in about 15 days.So I finally got around to firing up my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit virtual machine and retrying this process. In hopes of narrowing down what was the cause, I tried with new ROMs that already were in the appropriate format. I also redownloaded the SNES injector thinking maybe that was the problem. So I injected a common ROM (Streets of Rage II) that was detected by the injector. I gave it appropriately sized images and was presented with a CIA. I removed the SD card from my 3DS instead of using Bloop this time and transferred it over, then installed it with the latest version of FBI.
Same result. I see the 3DS loading screen. Then I see a black screen that never loads anything. (20 minutes now, still nothing.) It doesn't respond to any buttons, nor the touchscreen. I have to hold my power button down to manually shut the 3DS off. N3DS, 11.2, A9LH+Luma (Latest), Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 10 64-bit
Appreciate the effort, but I guess I'll go back to making my own the more difficult way.
I tried Super Mario RPG on blargSNES or snes9x (for 3DS) before but won't boot the game :/Unfortunately, the SNES VC emulator does not support SA-1 games. You're gonna have to do with a homebrew SNES emulator for now.
Works on RetroArch snes9x2002 for meI tried Super Mario RPG on blargSNES or snes9x (for 3DS) before but won't boot the game :/
Good. I'mma download that emulatorWorks on RetroArch snes9x2002 for me
Yes. If I create the inject myself using the method here:We can debug what's happening with your configuration that makes impossible to play these CIAs, but I'm backing from my holidays in about 15 days.
So you CAN install and play another SNES VC CIA created by another Injectors/methods, right?

Your best bet is to wait until I release the BlargSNES, snes9x or RetroArch SNES VC edition.
Do the banner yourself, hen use import a pre-made banner.binIve been using your tool a little bit, but i cant seem to get the banner to work at all, it just puts a blank SNES cart int eh image, do you have a version of this where i can just edit the Texture of the snes model and load that as a png and itll rewrite it?
i might have used the wrong term - i edited the postDo the banner yourself, hen use import a pre-made banner.bin
