Ok this was 2 priceless not to post. https://gyazo.com/292a99827ffa16de4ecd2d6ecb7cef3e I read a address for location which i found in the cheats.h file and i got DEADBEEF in one the hex results. That's way to much of a coincidence to just be there lmao. But it could be a filler spot from the Nintendo devs or just NTR Debugger. Because i was NOT indoors and it's a indoors position modifier so you know. I know this is kind of a waste of space but that's me messing around a bit. I'm going to mess with addresses and see what i can find.

I'll leave a note here for now. If the USA_PLAYER_ADDR is 80807 (HEX) there is no active player. If the address is 80808 (HEX) there is. Now i wonder what happens if you activate a player if your not supposed to be active. Possible glitches? Or memory offset revealing? If you guys have tried it let me know.

Yeah, it's 7 when you go on the island because your inventory gets stored elsewhere, and higher I don't know

And when you go to someone else's town it's the number that is active for them so if you poke at the address for his inventory, you could peak inside his inventory I think.

I wonder if this works for the cartridge version of ACNL:WA, like if anything is different.

WA? Haven't heard of WA before. But my version is a cartridge so it should in some respect.

You probably could peak into their inventory. Also something else to note is that RAM dumps contain loads of strings if you dump them via Cheat Engine. Very useful for finding offsets among other things

If it is, I'm not going to support the new cart version as it'd be too much work for such little base. Reguardless, if you can use this plugin, then you can just download the game off of Freeshop since freeshop/eShop will have the original ROM that this plugin supports.

That's fair. I wasn't asking for you to add support, but just a curious question. I supposed I could see if anything does work.

Mine isn't the WA cartridge, It's a very old version. Really old.

Also something else to note. My cartridge is on the first ANCL update [For the USA]. It's that old.

I just have the WA update downloaded to my 3DS EmuNAND. Meaning my offsets are probably different in some spots do to it's default update.

Oh RAM editing will work. But the plugin probably won't. Chances are when Nintendo compiled it that it's compiled as a WHOLE and not the original with the updates built in. If so the offsets will in fact be different. As sad as that is.

Type in the item ID you want and press X + D-Pad Right to write that item to slot 1 of your inventory. This code was originally written for gateshark by @cearp but @justync7 ported it to NTR. I changed the key press so I could use duplication cheat.

I'm sorry guys but where do I type in the item ID?

Island coins and MEOW tickets. How would I even get the offsets, I've been thinking RAM dumps and at this point. Any advice if that's a worth while contribution?

RAM Dumps are a good bet. Probably your best to. Meow Coupons would be nice to have modifiable so i'll help you out and search for them as well.

They are encrypted values, I tried finding them before, failed lol. If you edit whatever is at the offset, it doesn't change... Might take a look again in a while if you don't find anything

Its supposedly the same as the bank, which is encrypted.

Ok, I found the offsets for keyboard and chat bubble but they don't work.... :hateit:

Instead of using text for island, you're going to have to use the ABD, type in the decimal ID of the item, and push buttons to send it.
I know, its a pain... But it's just a workaround until I can find a way to read from the keyboard correctly.

Yes the bank is encrypted, so are meow coupons. Last time I checked island coins weren't. There is still a way to cheat the bank, and there is still a way to cheat meow coupons. It's just unstable.
