After reading plailect guide 3 times then going through the step (easy by the way!) I am now up and running in luma with AL9H.

I had a gateway and decided to move the EMUnand to sysnand once again following plailect guide. Now all my CIA's are missing from the home menu :/.

Do I have to re-download all of the CIA's? Also Data from Mii plaza (games progress and tags) are gone. I did some searching but could not find a definite answer on if I need to reinstall everything or if there is a simple way to get the games re-setup.

Last question and I know people hate this one but I was wondering if there was a way to boot into Gateway mode at all with this setup. I like the easy to use cheat search interface and code creation.

I already have NTR installed and setup as well but would still like to setup Gateway mode if possible.

Please and thank you to all!

*Edit*

I wanted to add that I do have the EMUnand backups from the SD card saved in case I need them for what ever reason.

*Edit*

I used: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-with-gateway-on-v2-a9lh.431691/ to get gateway going so that is set.

All I need now is the CIAs. I see the data on the card taking space but still can't access games

OK So to anyone who has ALSO experienced this issue I am going to try and help you as I figured out what was going on!

I was slowly installing CIA's and importing saves (from gateway backup that I had done previously). This was going to take forever.

I noticed though that the space on my memory card kept decreasing in FBI even after a fresh format.

1) Inserted card into PC AFTER powering down 3DS Checked My Nintendo 3DS folder.
2) In that folder, there was 2 folders with 32 digit alpha numeric name. 1 was 11MB the other was 36GB.
3) I turned off my 3DS and MOVED the 11 MB Folder off the SD card onto a safe place on my PC.
4) Inserted card and booted 3DS same items on the screen nothing lost nothing gained

5) Put card back into the PC AFTER turning off the 3DS
6) Went into the 30GB folder
7) Found 2 more folders with 32 digit alpha numeric name.
8) Copied both of these folders to a safe location to my PC
9) Moved 30.8GB data (Should be 3 folders: dbs, extdata, title) into the 5GB folder
10) Inserted card into 3ds and powered on the 3DS
11) Profit!!!!!! all CIAs, saves and settings have returned (including badges and other programs)

Hopefully this helps someone out as it did me!!!
