I am using emunand with version 11.0, and reinand.

What step /part should I start to install arm9loaderhax?

Do I need to use save data manager or can I just make a backup of the 3DS folder to keep my saves?

From what I read in the guide, you need to downgrade the emunand to 2.1, create a backup image, then restore that image to the sysNand
is this correct? So in essence you are downgrading the sysNAND to 2.1 to get the OTP key?

Hi guys! I really need help with this.
Some time ago I hacked the console (rxTools, menuHax, etc) and did the whole emunand/sysnand thing, but I couldn't recover all the games I had downloaded through the eShop. That felt a bit like wasted money, because there were some games that I had to play yet (also I saw there were some problems with online play). So I deleted the hack, and restored my eShop account. Hacking the console and doing the downgrade required formatting, which now made the console unable to connect games with savefiles (I didn't know that before hacking the console). After deleting the hack and restoring the console to the normal firmware, I recovered my eShop account and restored my games. Now my problem's that I can't recover my saves. I have a backup of the .savs on my PC, but putting them on the SD doesn't work (the save I care for the most is the Pokemon X save). I've seen on some pages that, using save_manager, I can edit the save and restore it, but I can't use it because I currently can't access the Hombrew Launcher (I have an o3DS and none of the games required), so... should I wait for a new Hombrew Launcher entry point? Is it possible to recover the save that way? Or should I start the game again and forget about my old save?
Thanks in advance!!

I could maybe try help with Pokémon saves :) - is the X save in "main" file type/ramsav, or is it .sav like with using GW?

It's a .sav (00000001.sav) that's inside the "title" folder (well, after the "00040000" and "00055d00" folders). I never used the GW; that's the .sav I backup'd from the game downloaded through the eShop
Also I forgot to mention that my firmware is the latest one (11.0.0-33u), in case it's relevant for recovering the data

Can A9lh disappear by itself accidentally ? Can I use my 3ds normally and discover I am on stock 11.0 instead of A9lh 11.0?

Because it feels weird being on 11.0 and being able to use things like NTR...I'm always wondering when it'll stop working...XD

Hmm, have you tried opening it up in PkHex?

Seeing as it's that save in the specific area in not sure what to advise, personally I extrAct saves with JK Save Manager

Once installed, it can't essentially "accidentally" disappear. Exploiting the kernel of the 3DS is in a sense more internal modification to a limit. No, but if you use Luma without ticking the config box to show "Sys/Emu" on the end of the FW, it could confuse you.

Nintendo would have to re-write a lot of the coding and people with A9LH would be bricked, and that's quite illegal of them to do, ironic actually..

Not sure if possible as it'd be in a sense tied to your eShops region etc

I can't use either of those because I don't have the Homebrew Launcher :/

About a month or so ago I picked up a cheap 2DS with 6.0 FW on it because I wanted to use the acnl ram/save editor and i was worried that I would brick my O3DS XL with 4.5 FW since I'm new to CFW etc.... I upgraded the 2DS to 9.2 (with rxtools) and got browserhax/menuhax working on it and can use the save editor with no problems.

I'm now wondering if there is a relatively easy way for me to access online play on my 2DS? ctr - httpwn seemed like a simple way, but I'm under the impression it does not work with 9.2. I currently do not have emunand, as I wasn't sure how to set that up while I was upgrading.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions:D

If you follow this guide, you'll end up with a sysNAND of 9.2 and an emuNAND of 11.0, which you can then safely use online features.

So I just finished the a9lh setup, anyway to still use my gateway? My gateway was a really old version if I recall correctly.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, any way to turn my gateway saves to ones I can use with CIA files?
