I dont have, nor will get an r4, due to the fact that i have a slot 1 already. But back on topic, i just thought of something, as someone has sort of said it before. Maybe you could try and unlock the computer ghost duelists, as the downloadable cards were unlocked with your editor. So why not duelists?

Many thanks for the editor. However, I'm a little stuck.

I edited my save file using this editor and it worked perfectly, no problems whatsoever. I later wanted to change the name of my character so I made a backup of my save then overwrote my game file with a new one. I created my character then proceeded to add this new save file into the editor. I did everything just like before but this time the cheats had not taken effect. I tried this process several times and every time it seemed that the editor hadn't edited anything at all.

Does anyone have any idea as to why that is?

What's even stranger is that I then tried to replace the save file with my backup one from before but upon switching the game on it reverts straight back to the fresh save file.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong since I did it only a few hours ago successfully.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Human error somehow? Perhaps you're replacing the wrong files?

What card are you using? DS-X by any chance?

Perhaps, but I got it to work the first time. It strikes me odd to get it wrong all these other times.

I'm using the G6 Lite.

The save files are saved as gamesave.0 so at first I was unsure if I could use the editor. I manually renamed the file to gamesave.sav, used it with the editor and it worked fine. I then changed it back to gamesave.0 and replaced it back into my cart. The game loaded fine and the cheats were in effect.

And now I'm at the aforementioned problem. No matter which of my Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2007 save files I try and edit, the cheats simply won't appear on the game anymore.

The editor seems to be running correctly. I mean it would notify me if it failed to successfully edit a savefile right? If so then I'm assuming the problem is not with the files themselves but rather the way I'm adding them to my cart (as iJeff suggested), or perhaps even the cart itself failing to recognise the new savefile?

Had I not got it working the first time I wouldn't have minded much, but the fact that I got it to work and can't anymore is rather frustrating.

Well, I don't know anything about the G6 format. Maybe someone else with the same cart can tell you what they do. It sounds to me like some sort of problem there.

The editor should give you an error message if it doesn't work. Also, remember that you need to save the file when you're done with the editor. It should prompt you when you try to exit. Make sure you're using this newly created save file.

Though, my initial guess is that you're missing some step in the G6 -> raw save file -> G6 process.

Thanks for your help Flavor. I just managed to work out the problem.

I tried deleting all save files of WC 2007 from my flash card but it still loaded up that fresh save. That's when I realised that the card must have stored the save file elsewhere, hence why replacing was doing nothing.

I wiped the game and put it back, along with my backup and now I've gotten everything back again.

Again, many thanks for your help and thank you for making a great editor!

It wasn't "pointless spam"

The comment you just made was though, as it served no purpose at all but to add another post to your count.

I didn't see it "2 posts up" because I did not read 20 pages of mindless message board babble.
I found what I wanted in the very first post, noticed that the topic starter asked a question, and posted that to help him out or anyone else who might have needed that information.

Keep your e-penis to yourself please, thanks.

Actually it was on the same page, so you should have seen the answer. Back on topic: Flavor do you plan on making any more updates to your trainer, even though the flashcarts support cheats? As theres some things your editor can do that the cheats cant.

Seems you didn't even read what I said... it was not on "the same page" because, as I said.....

Which means I read the first post and that was it, since it was the only thing worth reading, and replied to the topic starter's request for something that would convert saves...

anygay....
