You should only need to move the folders from inside the US version into the JP one. They probably have different names if you're not seeing anything.

Ah, I feel kinda stupid for not trying that in the first place.
Thanks!

Update on what's going on. I got ExtData deletion working. Problem is, creating it doesn't seem to be as easy. Smash keeps telling me it's corrupted. I guess that means it's at least able to create and write it now. Just not the way it should be. Next update will also have a fix for something I should've noticed long ago.

Protip: Don't program while on strong painkillers. They make you forgot a lot of basic stuff.

Before formatting made a backup of some saves with SVDT and now I want reinyectarlos. Can this be done using this application or must necessarily be with SVDT? I tried putting the folders and such in the same directory as is said in the first post, but to give Import Save, does nothing ...

The save format is compatible with SVDT. Note that if the target program never created a save file, JK's error message is a little ambiguous (it may also be read as not being able to find saves to load from SD)!

Okay ... The problem is that it does not give me any error. Simply does nothing Import pressing Save. I do not know if it's because I have misplaced folders or what.

First time posting on Gbatemp, dunno if I'm doing this right. Just wanted to report that out of the 12 games i have, Puzzle and Dragons freezes my 3ds upon attempting to back it up. The other 11 games back up flawlessly. Also, there is one blank space, and another title with jumbled letters in the game title list. Not sure what they are.
Using the latest version of the app. Old 3ds 9.2 sysnand, 10.6 emunand, rxtools.

In order for this game to backup, you need to have a save in both games. In the mario part and in the dragons part and it wont freeze. I tested it today and it worked for me in the latest CIA from github https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM/blob/master/JKSM.cia?raw=true

I really wish I knew what was up with that though. Yoshi's New Island backs up no problem with blank saves. It should also just drop the file the second it can't read anything from it, not freeze up.

Anyway, I'm probably going to drop a newer build soon. It won't have the new ExtData stuff, but the fix I mentioned is pretty important. It doesn't let certain games restore correctly. The source won't be updated right away though, as it has a lot of unfinished stuff in it. I was adding a user settings kind of thing, but it's not done. Also, I don't really see much more new stuff getting added to it anymore. The play coins thing was just added so I could get back some stuff in a few games quicker without installing and downloading something else. I actually corrupted a few saves of mine writing this in the beginning. I was actually going to remove it, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to leave it in.

Having some weird issue with the 3/17 build. Backed up SD version of Pokemon rumbke world. Edited. Went to restore. Game acts like I don't have a save. Put the edited data backed up with jksv in a sdf folder, game says data is corrupt.
Guess I need to use SDF for that game for now

Dowload from the drive link above Github and see if it works. That was one of the games that would've had issues. It should be dated 3/25 now. I have to edit the OP later.

Both Export and Import work for Pokemon Rumble World, now. Thanks.

Tested by export then import. Also tried Export, delete, then import.
:D
