I know I'm probably being a dumb assume right now. I can't install bluecardfix on A9LH. I tried setting FBI in nand and SD. Both throw up an error. Running just sysnand latest fw revision.

Do not bother, just use patched TWL_Firm (CIA of it is on that iso site, install to NAND) and if needed, TWL Slot-1 Launcher.(install this CIA to NAND as it is a DSi title)

Just using the patched TWL_Firm allowed me to launch my AceKard 2i even without TWL Slot-1 launcher or bluecard fix/timewarp stuff.

It should also work for ths bluecard if it can for the AK2i

I like the new version of AuReiNand but my menuhax loading of GW doesn't work with it so I dropped back to 3.12 and still use arm9select to load A9LH payloads. Once GW gets off their butt and creates a A9LH payload I will update back to the latest and greatest AuReiNand.

@SirBeethoven, If you use arm9select with AuReiNand it will take priority over the AuReiNand loader allowing you to more freedom as a sysNAND user. As a sysNAND user you can map a.bin,b.bin,x.bin,y.bin,up.bin,down.bin,right.bin and left.bin all without having to use any other buttons. Great for sysNAND users for emuNAND not so much as a and b are used by AuReiNand to boot a second emuNAND if you have one and a to get back to emuNAND after playing GBA on emuNAND or exiting settings of emuNAND. Not that I can think of more than 6 A9LH I need. I use decrytp9 and uncart currently. If I need to do some emuNAND stuff I drop in emuNAND9 for a bit and delete when done (swapped to a 128 GB microsd from a 64 GB yesterday).

yeah your right, but i didnt know it would disable menuhax, maybe thats why after i removed it and wanted it back, it would not install.

as i am on the latest aurei v3.13, but i still have menuhax removed. what i did now is, i just installed the GW cia offline launcher inside my sysNAND and when i boot my n3ds now pressing L boots me into the sysNAND and i launch the GW cia and it boots me just fine into my GW emuNAND, just like you i also look forwared to GW a9lh support.

but i will still keep GW emuNAND as my 2nd XD cause i only use it for cheats at times :) , and why did you go bigger in mSD size!?? what do you install? every game ? XD 64 is enough for me .

and btw. to you other guys, i am on latest Aurei now, and i dont have menuhax set , i removed it completely cause i wanted to try the L+ payload ,but it does not work for me.

only L+R boots the default bin which is d9 for me, for example L+A does not boot my other payload :/ any idea why ?

im on a9lh aurei.
my sysnand is 9.2 and emunand 10.7.
When powering n3ds, it boots directly to emunand.

I was thinking on doing a normal update to bring sysnand up to 10.7 (this is safe?). I would also like to keep my emunand, but is it possible to make n3ds boot directly to sysnand where im planin to install all my games? How?
Also do I need to select any of those three optiins that were offered on first boot?

Yes. Turn off your system and turn it back on but hold "select". After that you should be on the menu again. Choose the one that says "Updated sysnand mode" or something like it (I haven't even tried out the new release lol). After that, you should have Aureinand booting into sysnand until you change if back, if ever. And yes. It's safe to update sysnand.

I just noticed that the only thing in the /aurei folder in 3.13 is the empty payloads folder, so the emunand.bin, reboot.bin etc are all gone. Should I remove these from my SD card?

EDIT
Never mind, I missed the message on the 3.12 release notes. These files can be deleted!

Just copy the firmware.bin and firmware90.bin from your OLD aurei folder and paste them in the NEW folder. Afterwards, delete arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of the SDcard, and THEN paste the NEW aurei and the NEW arm9loaderhax.bin

Thanks but I got it going, I just needed to know if those files were necessary or missed when Aurora was packaging up the zip.

One thing I did notice though, I came from 3.8 I think, and when I set my configuration through the menu it didn't seem to stick the first time, kind of. I pressed start to save and my 3DS rebooted to a black screen. I then powered it off and back on, only to be greeted by an emuNAND error message (I don't have an emuNAND so this partially makes sense, although it should have booted to sysNAND). I rebooted back into the config menu and everything was still enabled, so I pressed start again and this time it rebooted into sysNAND.

In the 3.12 change log
  • To reduce SD card accesses and make the program more newbie friendly, emunand.bin, reboot.bin and loader.bin have been merged into the main executable.

Maybe it was a little bug, nothing to worry about, nothing too serious I guess

AureiNAND is fantastic.
I got FBI to work ! Now my only dilemma is that I downloaded some .cia game like Pokemon X and its 1.68 GB on my 4 GB SD card and emunand takes too much space(2,4GB) so when I want to install the games via FBI it says no more space on my SD card. Can I put the path of the .cia game to destination NAND instead of SD?
You click L to switch to NAND in FBI

I wouldn't do that. your nand is only so big, and it's usually not smart to install things to your nand.

I would just go buy a bigger SD card.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If I use emunand, is there a point to have firmware90.bin on my SD card?
