I keep getting this error:-
Response: 520 Closing data connection, error occurred during transfer.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I've put the correct IP in and port still; wont connect to my wiiu?

I fixed this problem in the end anyone wanting to know how?. If anyone gets this error come up, go into settings in FileZilla to FTP and click on Passive (recommended) instead of Active sorts it out ;)

I was thinking of trying to upload a whole wiiu title to my sd card. I have about 4MB/s upload transfer speed so it would not take too long if it worked that is does anyone know if it is possible before I try?

I can connect just fine. But when it displays the file listing the directory "/" is empty. I am connected with passive. Card is formatted in FAT32.

EDIT:

I can see if fine from my web browser. It must be the FTP program I am using.

Hey that sounds like the connection gets lost. It appears to be running into a timeout. Did you try another client maybe? Original FTPii didnt support all kind of FTP clients. Especially some new clients caused issues with it.
I use an old version FlashFXP which works pretty well. Some people said that FileZilla works great too but seems like you have an issue with it. Another thing I can think of is that those dynamic libs FS functions are pretty fragile from what I have seen so far. For example it doesnt allow any Apple Mac hidden files to be on SD card. Sometimes re-formatting the SD card helped people or a different SD card. Those are just some points I can think of that could help you.

Nope I dont have that issue. I can download to PC and upload to SD card just fine. That is why it is strange. I will try some stuff later but its hard to try to look for something you cant reproduce on your own system.
