It didn't work, so I've downloaded the elf file on the same page and removed the data folder. Didn't work.

Normal SRLs have to be installed to both. But it sounds like my SRL doesn't need to be. CTR mode is probably reading the TID and passing that along to TWL_FIRM on reboot. Since CTR mode has emunand patch, it's able to read it from TWLN on emunand. I guess the SRL isn't used at all once TWL_FIRM boots because it immediately launches Slot-1. Which is cool. That means you won't need to have this on sysnand!

Tried using a R4iGold.cc card that works on my DSi 1.4U. Doesn't work on vanilla 3DS firmware.
Tried installing DSCardWhitelist v0 and TWLFirm 4.0-7 since that seems to be the firmware where my R4 got blocked.
Whitelist installs, TWLFirm does not. Card still won't load.
Installed TWLauncher to both sysNAND (9.2U) and emuNAND (RX-E 10.5U)
Doesn't load either.
I can not install a newer clean TWLFirm because FBI/DevMenu says it's invalid.

Welp.
Is there some way to format TWL NAND and reinstall everything again? Could System Format fix it?

Does this will work with rxtools 2.6? Since i have a o3ds tuxSH said that i only need to replace an .elf file...

DSiGold has been confirmed to work through the Launcher (and maybe without it. Just the new patches in TWL_FIRM may allow it to work) You may have not installed a modifed TWL_FIRM with the new patches or using latest rxTools. If that's the case, my launcher won't boot. So be sure to fix that before testing it.

That's something I've been wondering for a while too.

Would it be possible to force DS games into a widescreen mode? Sure, it'll loot stretched, but I really hate the black bars besides the game

Ok I have an o3ds xl using RxTools, what should I do if I want to run the ds flashcart on my emunand? I have a m3ds real, so I have no clue if it will work with this, but is worth a try. I am asking because I don't want to mess my 3ds.

Try to install the patched TWL_FIRM with BigBlueMenu or FBI destination NAND!

1. The DS Cart should NOT autoboot from a DS. Meaning your card will not work if it autoboots. It must have a banner that you can press on the DS lite and use the cart from there. I have an old R4 that autoboots to moonshell and it won't work on the TWL Launcher. My fake card still needs to be pressed from the old DSlite homescreen to use the cart.
2. I updated my RxTools from 2.6 to 3.0 beta.

Dude can you send me the kernel? I have the exact same R4 but I get double white screen when I load it, how is the banner/icon in yours? mine has a white banner and a white icon

Hi, I have a R4i SDHC Dual Core 2013 that doesn't have the update to work on ver. 9.2, will this app work in my 3DS 9.2 to make my flashcard work even it has firmware update for 4.5?

Because I think I read somewhere in the game header information you posted in the the other thread, that there is a field for a start execute address. If we set this address to code the execution address of older flashcards, do you think we could launch them.

It seems that R4i 3DS (www.r4ids.cn) is not working. I already have the dswhitelist.cia installed when I first set up CFW but it seems my 3ds doesnt detect it(no cartridge showing on 3ds). I tried updating to latest rxtools3.0b2, changed the elf file as @TuxSH mentioned but still the same scenario. So i tried installing @Apache Thunder app, then still the same result(I got an Nintendo error that says "hold down power button" or something). Am i missing something or is my card not supported?

maybe your card is broken, because it should show up, even if its not working.

Change system date is an archaic and idiotic solution (I like activity log for 3DS games, don't want it to get wrong) and the cart has no updates anymore... It's an R4i GOLD.
