Homebrew TWL Slot-1 Launcher (First custom DSiWare app!)

1. I have a bricked R4i 3DS, it doesn't seem to read the cartridge at all (nothing appears) and if I insert it in my DS Lite, the DS Lite freezes after hearing the DS startup sound.
Will the patch make it work 'magically'? Or is it just ripperino?

2. I have another flashcart that activates on DS Lite right on boot. Those will not work?
3. This breaks MSET?

I had the intention to test my Action Replay DSi with this app, but the cartridge doesn't fit properly in a New3DS

I think this should be added to the first post for clarification:
- ANY card that ever worked on DSi will work with just the patched TWL_FIRM. This should include Cyclo DSi, as this also removes the savegame exploit check from TWL_FIRM.
- ANY card that ever worked on DS/DS Lite *without* bypassing the DS(L) menu (so you actually had to press its banner/title to make it boot) WILL work with the launcher.

Okay I have a problem. I'm running on a new 3DS with 9.2E sysNAND and reiNAND 3.2 release 10.5 emuNAND. I installed the patched TWL and the TWL Loader no problem but my genuine AceKard 2i won't work. I have two:

AceKard 2i 1:

Genuine and works on my DS Lite, showing up as Deep Labyrinth Bros. Doesn't even show up in the n3DS menu and as soon as I insert it into my n3DS the menu music stops playing and a few seconds later the system freezes. If I try to coldboot the n3DS with this AceKard the backlight won't even turn on, nor the yellow WiFi indicator.

AceKard 2i 2:

Clone, identifies as Alex Rider Stormbreaker which also shows up in the n3DS menu and boots fine with the TWL Launcher, however the AceKard system complains about "Clone 5 Detected" and won't let me proceed.

Anyone have any advice as to what to do? Should I try to update my genuine AceKard 2i via my DS Lite?

Okay so I've been trying to make this work on my old (and horribly fake of a fake) DSTTi Clone which was called R4i SDHC Dual Core white. The kernel of it can be downloaded from r4isdhc.hk which has been down for 3-4 years so I have no way of getting data for it. I managed to download RetroGameFan's collection of cart updates for fakes and I got it to work by renaming the ".dat" of a certain clone into a "iLL.iL". It worked on my old ds, but on the 3ds it wouldn't load. After a lot of fiddling, I managed to get this working and it made my pirate heart jump for joy! So I'd like to share some that I did to make this work:

1. The DS Cart should NOT autoboot from a DS. Meaning your card will not work if it autoboots. It must have a banner that you can press on the DS lite and use the cart from there. I have an old R4 that autoboots to moonshell and it won't work on the TWL Launcher. My fake card still needs to be pressed from the old DSlite homescreen to use the cart.
2. I updated my RxTools from 2.6 to 3.0 beta.

both of them should work. Did you copy the .elf file on your ~~rxtools folder?~~ oh you have reinand. :l

Yeah, it's more strictly speaking a Acekard problem and not really a TWL Launcher problem as it works flawlessly. I'm beginning to think it might be a mechanical problem. When I insert my genuine Acekard into the n3DS there is a resistance at one point, if I gently push it goes through and seats seemingly normally though. This doesn't happen with the clone.

Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what the latest AceKard firmware is? The GBA Temp Wiki lists "Pippa Funnell" while waybacking to the old Acekard.com site lists "Fossil Fighters Champions" o.o

It depends on your hardware revision. My old genuine Ak2i revision topped out at Alex Rider Stormbreaker, and yes, it also has a terrible seating problem to the point where I've had to put a piece of paper into the card slot of the DSi I used it with for it to not disconnect during gameplay =(

yes, it is. you have to uninstall already exist one then you can install it.

Can someone help me? I installed the slot-1 launcher CIA to sysnand and emunand,then I installed the twlfirm_o3ds.cia to emunand. Now im trying to use my Ace3DS Plus card but I still get the error, am I doing something wrong? The card loads perfectly on my DSlite but not on my O3DS XL. (sysnand 9.2 emunand 10.5)
