Already did this. Okay I'm pretty much done with this. If it isn't working, there's an issue with the new console. I'll either issue a return or sell it. This is all just a real let down. Thanks for your time.

It should work as long you have the latest firmware versions, so currently 10.4. I did it in the past from O3DS to N3DS, and about a week ago from N3DS to N3DS XL.

Which method did you use? I actually have my old emunand sitting around from my o3DS, and I've been kind of tempted to trying a system transfer from that to my n3DS emunand.

I'm curious if this is doable from Reinand or Cakes.

Any other insights/tips?

The method described in the first post of this thread, should work from Reinand...

So there is no way of doing this without being on the latest version in emunand? Both my n3ds's are on 9.2 and I would like to keep it that way until rxtools supports 10.4 on n3ds.

If I region change a JP N3DS emuNAND to EU, would I then be able to use the this method for a state transfer? Since both would then be technically the same region emuNAND?

So I can do this to transfer my data from an Old 3DS XL emuNAND on 10.5 to a New 3DS XL emuNAND on 10.5, right?

Can I use the 4GB on the New 3DS XL if I have a 64GB MicroSD with an Adapter on the Old 3DS Xl during the transfer and then use the 64GB on my New 3DS XL?

You can not system transfer across different region consoles. eShop servers are used during the process and it would reject the request even on region swapped emunand.

As for me, my plans are to just system transfer my 10.5 o3DS emunand into a 10.5 sysnand on n3DS. Because my n3DS will be nand modded, this will make the process easier. I will likely upgrade to a 64GB MicroSD card as well so I won't have to worry about swapping the cards around and having to worry about emunand being on the wrong card. Hopefully I can just chose the move content over with a PC option.

My current SD is a MicroSD, so I may tell it that I can physically insert my SD into the n3DS. Since my n3DS will be on 10.5 sysnand (temporarily at least) I won't have to worry about the reboot procedure. Once done, I'll use my NAND mod to copy the sysnand over to emunand once the process is complete. Then I'll manually transfer the movable.sed and system save games from my o3DS sysnand so I can get working NNID on both emunand and sysnand just like with my current o3DS and the nands will remain unlinked to each other.

Both consoles are going to be USA consoles (I don't have the New 3DS XL yet)
I will use my GW Card with both consoles, when I transfer my data from my Old 3DS emuNAND to the New 3DS emuNAND I will just give the Old 3DS XL to my little sister with a 16GB SD Card and never use it again.

I have a n3ds Jap and I have a question. I just moved from a JAP emunand to a USA Emunand on myJap n3ds. Is there away that I can move the cias that I had installed (all US Region) on my JAP emunand over to the new USA emunand with out having to re-install everything?

All the titles are still there under the Nintendo 3DS folder, under thetitle and ext data.. but it is not recognized by the emunand. I did all the changing region on another SD card, I just did an import of the USA emunand on the SD card that had all of the CIAs installed.

I got a new 3DS xl and I did the System Transfer and I choose the option that let me use a PC to transfer the files, but when I tried to do the step 5 I had an error like the writer of the post, so I did what He did but I didn't get any wrapped presents at the end, and when I reinstalled every game my save data of those games didn't even work at all and every game on the System Configuration has a Cross over it.
I was using a 64GB MicroSDCard with an Adapter on my Old3DS and a 4GB MicroSDCard on my New 3DS, what can I do so I can use the 64GB MicroSD on the New3DS without losing my games and save files?
I have a Backup of my SD Card and emuNand before the System Transfer so I can just redo all over again, I use Gateway on both 3DS's by the way.

I was able to successfully do a system transfer using the wireless option without any issues. No need to remove any SD cards at all. When I rebooted back to emunand, it finished the transfer. My mii plaza transferred and I was able to access the eshop with my NNID.

Hey guys, I have an o3DS on rxTools Emunand 11.0.0-33 and a N3DS with a9lh on 11.0.0-33 too.

I want to system transfer because I want my NNID on the new3ds. Is it safe to do a normal System Transfer between the two? Or is there any trick to it?

Will it mess up any of the Emunands?

Normal system transfer will work fine. You may need to reinstall tickets for pirated games on the N3DS for them to appear (or install CIAs with FBI and they will error out after 1 second but then appear on your home menu).
