Ah thats reassuring, at least for those who pre-ordered, since I was worried that some people who pre-ordered could not be shipped first. Thank you. I just hope all resellers' news are as good, wish you good luck.

EDIT: To add to that, the flood that caused HDD prices to raise was one of the worst floods to ever happen to Thailand and all HDD manufacturers had plants in the area that got affected. You need clean conditions to manufacture HDDs, so these plants were basically ruined and needed to be completely rebuild.

So, I suggest stop spreading FUD, this is far from comparable.

Any time any kind of disaster happens overseas we see costs and delays rise considerably. Definitely not "Fud." Whether it's the cause or not I see them using this as an excuse for the delays.

Hey fellow tempers! I'm not sure if this will provide much additional insight but I thought I'd share. After the 20th passed on Usar4's expected stock they extended the expected stock to the 25th. I proceeded to email them and finally got confirmation. They will not receive stock prior to Christmas but will have stock ready to ship before the end of December. Essentially don't expect to receive the Sky3ds+ before/on Christmas at all. We will probably start receiving them within the first week of the new year. Pretty odd and disappointing how things turned out for the Sky3ds+'s timing but whaddayagonado.

3dscardsuk are giving away free r4i cards for anyone who preordered the sky3ds+, I asked them when they would send this free gift out. Apparently it will arrive when the sky3ds+ does, which I think kinda defeats the purpose of the gesture.

So we have confirmation that 90 pieces of Sky 3DS + shipped today!!!
We will receive them December 24th and try to ship out the same day
for our oldest pre-orders. The rest of our shipment will be sent December 26th
and should arrive by December 29th. So next week we will have stock.
We were hoping to get them one day sooner so customers would receive there overnight
orders in time for Christmas.

My Sky3DS+ was sent by one of the official reseller. (3DSville.com, it's supposed to be French but in fact, they are settled in HK.)

I supposed that the main part of the preorder will be sent soon. (but really soon, not the GW soon

)

Yeah, some sites (like digitopz) took photos of their stock to reassure sceptics like me. Some resellers, like Modchip Central above, received small stocks but it seems like others could pretty much send their card to all those who pre-ordered within this week.
When did 3dsville send you your card ? I didn't pre-ordered there (but at digitopz) but I asked them if they had stock, like 2 days ago, and they were like "yes we have, we will send you the product number", but I was sceptic.

They sent it today, 04:43 am. (in our French hour... GMT+2 because of the winter hour if I'm not telling something wrong...)

And I also have my tracking number, it seems ok. I hope that it will arrive soon. (Before the end of the year but I don't believe so, with Christmas ans so on)

Be aware, I had some extra fees with 3dsville... (They are taking money in Chinese Yuans and not in euros even if their website is showing euro prices. I paid an extra 5€, I just sent an e-mail and they told me that they would refund me 4€ but could not refund the missing euro because it was bank tax. It is still cheaper than the main part of the European resellers and they add a 8Gb microSD card in the package for the preorder.)

I prefer to warn people, even if they refund without any problem.

Sky3DS Team is starting to ship the Sky3DS+s out!

First batch is arriving on the 24th (first pre-orders will get them)

We will be fully in stock on the 28th (Monday).

I guess everyone is getting small shipments, but I guess it's better than nothing.

so... modchipcentral says that today, 26th and 28th they will receive sky3ds+ stock, so i asked my local retailer if they are going to have it today but they didn't answer yet :c
