I extracted my sysNAND and something else, so i can inject FBI into H&S. I heard that to be able to restore the NAND, i need to go to Gateway menu, hold UP and click Downgrade. However, i read that it will update SysNAND?

Thanks, I did it, but I screwed up bad. I forgot to downgrade the emuNAND and now the firmware is at 9.8. I assume there's no way out of this if I don't have a flashcart?

Is this true? If so, how do i inject it? (9.0 SysNAND 10.3 EmuNAND)

The Sysnand a backed up was 9.0
You're fine... What that guy did was extracted an updated emuNAND and converted it to NAND.bin (since it was updated it contained 9.8) the firmware version you get is dependant on the version you backed your NAND up at, in this case you'll get 9.0... Not to mention that GW launcher doesn't even have access to internet since it crashes all of the internet services when launching

Ok, i Injected it. But on SysNAND the H&S thing says ''This software cannot be launched. Please go to the Nintendo Eshop to redownload'' (Or smth like that, rough translation)

You have to load sysnand with sig checks patched to actually use FBI through H&S.
Get minipasta, or simply rxTools devmode/pasta mode.
rxTools devmode/pasta mode should do the trick, if your devmode works properly. For some people it doesn't work and we aren't sure why, so that's why I suggest minipasta for if you can't get it to work.

Alternatively, rxmode sysnand (hold L on boot to access rxTools menu, press A, then X to load rxMode sysnand)

I already use RxTools, so i guess ''Rxtools devmode'' would be most convient. How do i install that?

Also, if its just a Gba game i want to install, is loading Rxmode sysnand not more easier?

It comes by default in rxtools unless you are using 2.6
2.5.2 has devmode and 3.0 nightlies have devmode or pasta mode depending on which nightly you use, but devmode and pasta mode are the same thing.

Just have to hold L while rxTools boots, go to Advanced, then devmode (or pasta mode)

If you have rxTools 2.6, or if your devmode simply does not work or you can't find it for whatever reason, minipasta works. It's the exact same thing as rxTools devmode.

Keep in mind, if you use autoboot menuhax to start rxTools, you will have to hold the buttons you chose to prevent menuhax from booting when you start up devmode/pasta mode/minipasta, whichever one you may want. Otherwise it'll just run menuhax again, hehe.

Also, my Rxtools menu has ''Inject FBI and Restore H&S things.'' Can i restore it from there?

Where did you try to install the GBA game?
Have to install them to destination SD

What error message does it give you in FBI?

Also, for minipasta you can just put minipasta.3dsx at the root of your SD card, then add an entry for it in CTRBootManager (If you are using that, which IMO you should be.)

Alright, put your SD in your computer, go to sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/
Create a folder named "dbs", then create two blank text files which you will rename to title.db and import.db

Then start up in sysnand again, go to system settings, data management, 3DS, let the 3DS repair the files when it asks to.

Then things should install properly.

You don't have anything installed on sysnand because the dbs aren't there.
Given that you are having to install GBA VC to sysnand I would assume your sysnand and emunand are unlinked, so all the .cias you installed on emunand are on a different folder.

Right-click the folders --> properties, the bigger one will be your emunand because of all the games installed on it while sysnand would have barely anything. In your emunand folder you would already have the dbs folder with title.db and import.db, sysnand doesn't which is what is giving you the "Database does not exist" error.
