Anyone highly skilled in the area of Japanese, specifically Katakana? I need help translating English words into Japanese phonetic sounds that follow proper Katakana rules.

For example, I'm given the English word, Guitars. So...

Guitars = Gi ta - su

( The " - " stands for a long vowel)

I have a total of 11 short words, but some of them are confusing when it comes to translating.

IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE POST A REPLY HERE AND I'LL FOLLOW UP WITH THE WORDS, THANKS!

Now, I've tried my hand at some of them already, so can you tell me if I'm right on these, or please correct me where necessary?

(Just a reminder: " - " means a long vowel sound for me. All these words must be translated based on English phonetic sound, and it has to follow Japanese Katakana rules.)

Electric Guitars = E re ku to ri ku Gi ta - su ?

Les Paul = Re su Po - ru ?

Warlock = Wa ru ro ku ?

And these I haven't gotten around to:

Flying V = ?

Stratocaster = ?

Nielsen = ?

Explorer = ?

Gretsch = ? (It's pronounced Gret(suka)

Performer = ?

Wave = ?

Gibson SG = ?

Once again, thanks a million!
