So do people get copyright strikes for Splatoon hacking? If that is the case, I better refrain from starting to post videos but dem viewz manHey @CosmoCortney can you tell me the range of offsets to search on when turning your character into an octoling in splatoon please? Your youtube video with the tutorial is now gone, nintendo blocked it.
YouTube is a joke. Every dumbass company can file a complaint and take things down. Maybe even imposters can. If I were to make my own website and put the videos up I guarantee that nothing would happen. It's just YouTube being paranoid like always so they take everything down that someone doesn't like. It's just not the right place for uploading questionable stuff but it gets the most views. I'm just hoping that I won't be hit :/you can't find any other Splatoon hacks on youtube anymore. To prevent me from getting the second strike I have set my only spared Splatoon video as private.
Remove the music...use a range between 18000000 - 1F000000. that should be fine.
and it's ridiculous what Nintendo is claiming against those hacking videos.
it tells something about copyright complaints. the infringed work is title as "No Title". wtf o.O
But why are all other Splatoon videos still available? Even those that explicitly feature its music?

It does save you from exposure. It worked for me. I privated videos that might be target for strikes or whatever and I was safe, lol. If they don't see/find the video you'll be fine. You need to do it before getting in trouble though.Remove the music...
Without music, and if the video is unlisted, there's no way Nintendo would know.
Also, setting a video as private won't save you. I tried.
Then even as unlisted it would save you. If some parts of the video are copyrighted (e.g. music), nothing will, not even setting it as private...It does save you from exposure. It worked for me. No, not from the automatic filters but from an actual company going after your video. There is a difference (copyright hint vs copyright strike). You can get as many copyright hints as you want, it doesn't matter but three copyright strikes and your channel is terminated. Then even as unlisted it would save you. Well, I've set these two videos as unlisted and I've got no strikes so far...No, not from the automatic filters but from an actual company going after your video. Yeah, nobody got strikes for Mario Kart 8 videos yet I believe (not sure if MrBean35000vr got one or not) but plenty of copyright hints since Nintendo is greedy and submitted all of their content on YouTube to detect games as much as possible like your "Can't read Wii Party U's FSA" videoWell, I've set these two videos as unlisted and I've got no strikes so far...
and Nintendo even monetises one of my videos, and I removed the music from the other
No, but Activision. You need to remember that the copyright matching system is very weak and if it's a dynamic gameplay they can't really automatically figure out that you're showing their game. If they find the video manually and it's hacking they might take action thenI should have made a music disabling/muting cheat.. but didn't expect Nintendo would get that offended by hacks as long as I don't use them online.
Has Nintendo ever demanded YT to delete one of your videos even without copyright matches?
I will make a music disabling cheat as soon as I play Splatoon again

How can you find the right address?I will make a music disabling cheat as soon as I play Splatoon again
Exactly what I'm thinking. Maybe you should "disguise" your videos a little...I think they do find enough videos and tell yt to deleted them. This one had no music at all:

When the music is playing the volume is very probably handled by a float of 3f800000. when i pause the game (the music turns off) it obviously changes to 00000000. this is enough to know to find the cheatHow can you find the right address?
By using an unsuspicious title?Exactly what I'm thinking. Maybe you should "disguise" your videos a little...
Exactly, and possibly a thumbnail as well. As long as Nintendo didn't subscribe to your channel, they could never find your videoBy using an unsuspicious title?
But then people won'T find my videosExactly, and possibly a thumbnail as well. As long as Nintendo didn't subscribe to your channel, they could never find your video
