People abused it and Nintendo had to remove it. Thus they most likely didn't add nor want to add a voice chat feature for fear of the same thing.

I know last time I played any games with voice chat features, all I got was homophobic, racist, and sexist comments left and right, with very little actual communication going on. Which basically killed voice chatting for me.

The game certainly feels lifeless without any sort of social communication, even back when I'd play FIFA 10 on my PS3 before I bought a mic to use I could still communiate with the other player via PM which is something the Wii U doesn't have.

Anyway, I'll only get back to play Splatoon around June 18 or so. Hopefully by then it'll have a lot of new content and improvements. Oh and, for the love of god make the damn music optional or able to turn its volume down.

But no, I don't have that game. I have only 3 games (zombieU, lego city and nintendo land)

Finished it all up. For anyone that doesnt feel like reading it, all I can say is this.

I really do like Splatoon. In fact, most of my complaints about Splatoon, is that I dont have MORE of it to play just due to lack of content. I think it's still really fun!

Though I also really wish they'd fix the abysmal lobby system...

The lobby really is socially inept, i.e, on Mario Kart 8 while it wasn't much you could at least still send some automated sentences, Splatoon you can't.

Don't be too bummed out. The WUPC is only used for the shitty offline co-op which is mediocre.

Nintendo needs to add the map to the TV because people aren't going to always look down at the GamePad. Oh this reminds me... Mario Kart 8.

Looks like rain tomorrow so I might be up for it. Will be my first time playing as well. My boys would would be flattered to play someone from Norway as well. (Watch out they have been playing non stop) . Shoot me some times US eastern.

Thomas, I'm done with Mario Kart 8 there's really nothing at all to make me go back to it unless Nintendo delivers new tracks. I've played it to death, so that's a game I won't be playing again unless it's with my nephews/niece (got two but one of them is still too young to play such games).
