Hello

I recently bought a new sky3ds blue button, and no matter what, i cant make it work

With the vast majority of the games i put it, the sky 3ds auto cycle i cant play any of the games

I researched this problem very much and did all of the steps described in this topic https://gbatemp.net/threads/sky3ds-auto-cycling.386837/

However one thing that is different, is that some very few games actually work on it, namely, Mario kart 7, paper mario luigi mansion and new mario bros 2. Every other game that i tried causes auto cycle and when i try to play a error occur.

I tried the method of holding the blue button for a few seconds to stop the auto cycle, and some games actually work with this, however the saves corrupt with this.

i have tested it on a micro sd kingston 16 gb class 4, another random micro sd with 4 gb and today i bought a original 16 gb ultra sandis micro sd, same errors.

Is there anything more i can do or should i just call and try to replace it?

Thank you very much and sorry for the bad english

Did you initialize your card?
1)Hold the button while inserting
2)reinsert the card and then wait for the flashing to stop
3)reinsert the card one more time.

I've never encountered the cycling problem, but usually the solution(from what I've read) is to use a different sd card. Maybe it wasn't formatted properly? Your 3DS games weren't the right region?

It seems calling for a replacement is the safest choice at the moment.

@OP:

The problem is not the SD card. Its the Sky3DS itself. It seems what you've got is a refurbished red-button card with the 10-games-limit. This explains the autocycle AND that some games work (because these are registered within the card).
You got ripped off when you bought it.
The reseller just replaced the red button with a blue button and sold it as a bluebutton card.
Get your money back if you can.

no, it was a local seller, i still trust him he recognized the card is broken and will test and send me another one. But i will test it with more than 10 different games myself to see if it starts auto cycle again.
