Not sure about EU firmware, but shuffle feature wasn't available till 9.3/9.4ish.

I would guess you could just update the home menu via CIA if you really want theme shuffle in 9.2.

I don't know how to update home menu with cia on n3ds xl and I guess I don't want to bother with so complicated stuff. I will just wait for xenoblade release or gateway support

Just use 3DNUS to update your emunand to 9.5.0-23, it's very easy.

So, are you sure it can really download N3DS updates? Last I heard (3 days ago) was it could only be used to update O3DS.

(And I can confirm, it works with the n3ds,at least the EU one)

I'm gonna try this... I already have a 9.5 emuNAND but will test it anyway... heck, there's nothing else to do until GW releases 9.6 support, aside from playing some games

Hey guys. So I just got a 3ds XL and it's os is 9.6. I also have a gateway card still unopened. I am a total n00b And never done this... is there step by step instructions on how to get the gateway card working on 9.6?

You can't. You have to be on 9.2 or under.

Gateway won't work on 9.6 for the next couple years at least. Return your 3DS since it's obviously used (no 3DS would come with 9.6 new out of box).

about 3DNUS, can i use that to "Safely update to 9.5 (EMUnand)?
i have a N3ds on 9.0 and gateway support. but i cant help but want to be on the last working emunand.
