Thanks that it nice to know I never really planned on pirating but I guess I can now convert my cart games to cia and install homebrew to have sound support over using as a 3ds and still have access to the eShop
If you have a nand backup from before the unlinking you could just flash it back.

Actually I just have smash4 infinite demo and ORAS demo , but I'm testing because I'm helping a friend that have more content and saves, I have to be sure it work on mine to use on his one...
But it's not actually corrupted since if I put in a new SD without emunand, and them on the 3DS, it will load on sysnand o-o I'm not in home now but I will try it when i back there:
Format the emunand SD (noting important there yet so :v), but the files there and see if load in sysnand, if yes, format emunand there and then try to place again the folders.... what do you think about this idea ?

I want to boot game A in French, game B in Spanish and C in English, but not changing the system region every time I want to boot then, it's possible on GW?

Hello , I have one simple question, what do I need to have a fully functional gateway ? I read it is advisable to backup sysnand and emunand is pretty neat, in order to have everything top notch what hardware and software do I need ? Is the default 2g SD card enough for all the data transfers ? Thanks in advance

Will it force me to update the FW immediately or I loose my game? Or will I be able to install an emu nand and then link it to a Nintendo account? This is my first handheld of this generation so I'm really iffy on how nintendo handles the pre-installed game.

I've been in the process of converting everything to CIA, but I've run into a slight snag. I took a .3ds file of SMB3 and converted it, but when it showed up on the home menu, the banner which usually reads:

is instead replaced by a blank white rectangle. Any ways or things I could download to fix that?

New 3DS right? Not 'Any old new 3DS.' Nintendo has confusing names lol. Would it work on any new 3DS or should I get my region because I live in the USA and we only have the New 3DS LL.
I'm considering buying a Sky3ds, so can somebody tell me if it supports the eshop game updates? I mean if i download the updates will they be of any use?
Like getting Pokemon Y game update from eShop? Yeah, it works. If you think its going to slow in your house or whatever, just put it in sleep mode and it will download.

If it's on 9.2, the region doesn't matter since gateway is region free already, and supports all 3ds regions.

I tried to look for informations about GBA VC .3ds files, can we play them now ? There are just... too many threads...

Unless you have a nand backup, it Is completely impossible to do so with or without a gateway.
In this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-4-5-sysnand-4-5-cfw-9-4-emunand-without-gateway.378721/ in Part 1, the 4th point says "Boot the MT Card Launcher by going into Settings --> Other --> Profile --> DS Profile". Is there a way to start the MT Card launcher with the Gateway go exploit? I have a 3DS on 9.2, but no gateway card.

I've just got my gateway today, and I know I want to "downgrade", "unlink emunand and sysnand" & install CIA files. But I'm not sure where to start? should I do the downgrade first? or do I look up how to to do the emunand?
downgrade first. before downgrading you're forced to do a NAND backup so that's always useful to keep saved in case something bad happens or in case you want to restore it back to your old firmware.
afterwards do the rest of the normal steps like formatting emunand and separating sysnand from emunand
