They're just as you've said it, butthurt customers who didn't get what they expected but were they charged for it? No. In case they were then that'd be different and even then using that review section isn't for assholes to be complaining that they didn't receive their lollipop.

The whole thing is just asinine, I will however, laugh my ass off when more get in stock and these losers won't be able to write these stupid reviews

NONE of them come with the adapter and they are classic controllers. they do have one but it's price is outrageously high.

I get that Smash Wii U is a lot better with the GameCube adapter + controller but...

So come on, you have 8 controllers to choose from not to count third party Classic Controllers that connect to the Wiimote and such.

I'd have been perfectly happy with a Hori controller if I didn't get the NGC adapter. Stop making such a big deal especially the assholes over at Amazon UK as it'll be back in stock and you'll be granted to play that one Wii U game with it.

I don't really want it for Smash... I'm looking at more of the gamecube aspect, I've hacked my vWii and I'm ready to completely replace my Wii, the only thing is I have to get an adapter before I can do that. But you are right, its a game of patience at this point.

After seeing the gamecube adapter sold out online a week before it even was released I got really nervous. I called several gamstops in my area they all said the adaptors they were getting were only for those who pre-ordered. I decided to check my local best buy on the release date at the time it was opening. I was lucky to find and buy the smash bros bundle (game, adaptor + controller). 3 people had already purchased it before I did. There were probably 10-12 smash bros bundles and about 14 adaptors when I was there. I went back to best buy latter in the evening to pick up Pokemon Ruby for my sister and saw that all the adaptors and smash bros bundles were sold out. There definitely seems to be a really big demand for the adaptors hopefully Nintendo makes more.

Hopefully they also make it compatible with other games. Would be a shame to see the countless adapters essentially become useless after the Smash Bros. hype has gone down and only the hardcore fans keep playing. I'd say expect to see a bunch of these adapters sold at 15~20 euros on eBay in maybe 3-4 years...

They really should and did Smash Wii U sold more than Mario Kart 8? As much as I like Smash it doesn't seem like it got that much attention as it should have.

3- You don't say?! But I think the rarity is what made those people to exagerate prices. If nintendo do more adapters, I expect a drastic price drop.

Not like Smash Bros. for Wii U actually uses the analog information from a GameCube controller... If you just prefer the feel of an analog shoulder button, I understand you, but really I think you should give the Hori a chance despite the lack of analog shoulder buttons...
