Yep, I caught him in a friend safari. I've also caught a shiny pansear in friend safari, so I feel like the rate is higher there.. or maybe I'm just super lucky.

Caught my 3rd fishable shiny today!

Was a clauncher evolution. Weird looking thing. (I ended up trading it on the GTS for a Mewtwo.)

Found my first X & Y shiny this morning, not what I hoped for though :/
It's that evolved mushroom .....
I have caught a couple of legit shiny's in previous games, like a Linoone, crobat, unown. I thought I also had a poliwrath and 2 other ones I don't clearly remember.
Most are from the Ruby Saphire era XD

I have a shiny Reuniclus, Modest nature and a shiny Smeargle, Jolly nature with Own Tempo. Not bad I guess.

Just traded both my shinies off for a Moltres and an Articuno on the GTS. Figured I might as well make use of them, rather than having them sit in my box, doing absolutely nothing. Now, to continue searching for a shiny Pidgey to use in my team...

Getting a shiny is not the problem, the problem is to get a shiny that's useful (correct nature, ivs, egg move-able breed), good base stats, etc
