Hi, I hardly post here, but I found this thread a couple of days ago and I'm so excited, I've also been having a lot of fun reading you LOL
I wanted to share something with you. I went to buy another supercard dstwo because mine stopped working and I got this at check out:
Dear all, the China Post has a slow processing speed and delays lots of packages at the moment due to their security checking (it may take more than 30 days to delivery). We highly recommend to choose other shipment if your order is urgent.

It's usually not that bad. It's typically around 2 to 2.5 weeks. ;) Thank god I rarely have to deal with that though, as my folks usually expedite for me. :D

I stopped ordering from china period unless its something that cost like $1-3. Not only do they take forever, but usually their customer service is terrible. I bought an R4i gold 3ds from shippingzone, but realized i wanted a SCDS2 instead so i asked them to return it. They wanted me to send the card to "someone else who ordered the same card" and then they would "try to work something out" in terms of a refund. Oh and apparently shipping and handling and return fees would be subtracted from the total i originally paid... combine that with how everything on eBay from China comes with headaches just made me stop altogether.

I cant tell you what to order, but I generally dont like waiting 3 weeks + time on a product i spent over 10 bucks for. Find the closest place to you, then google around the internet for their reputation, shipping speed and customer service. I personally order from realhotstuff because its literally 1 state away, they ship fast and i dont have to deal with the international bullcrap that comes with buying something overseas.

It's not. Just the other week, a person leaked the keys Cobra was likely using to make that system possible. So now it's likely you won't even need the ODE to play backups soon. But if you want homebrew, you'll still want to downgrade or get an ODE like that.

i dont think those keys have any relevance to the cobra ODE , they are nothing new , already known by cyberskunk /team rebug and others who make later cfw's all this supposedly will allow is for other devs to push out cfw;s which from what i read is not a good thing as they may not be as wel tested with all ps3 hardware revisions as other more well know devs cfw are , besides so what if keys are leaked, you will still have to burn BR-d's or even flash your BRd and burn BR discs ,still its not even worth it, better of to get an ODE if you dont have a 3.55 console or a dg-able console and flasher

I'm not quite sure how a Gateway 3DS thread is means for a PS3 discussion. However there's a PS3 section for such things, and you'll have a better chance of getting answer over there.

Link.

I was thinking the same thing but was too lazy to repost the "Thread Derailed" vid from youtube.... that i posted yesterday to avert another distraction -_-

This has been drawn out for so long, it has come to the point where I am not even excited for this flashcard anymore, once it comes out, I won't be as excited as I was when it was supposed to come out a few weeks ago.

Yeah... I'm excited but only somewhat. The $80 price tag scared me. If the cart has a reduction in price (maybe to around $40) I would get it - which is what they should be charging, but they're not because this is the first 3DS cart ever nearing release. They have the market and they know people will pay. I just don't happen to be one of them XD

The way they think of it, thats only the price of two games.

Also tho, im prob gonna wait and see if they make a game manager/the saves work before I consider getting one.

I know. XD I've been following this thread for awhile and I can do the math myself. However, it still just doesn't seem worth it. The cart is still 1:1 as far as I know, and if I'm likely to lose my microSD cards, I at least want to have the cart cost less so I've got enough money to replace the cards as they disappear (I'm careful, but shit happens) or to buy new ones if I want to play different games... I'm not going to keep reading and writing the same card over and over again every time I want to switch the game.

I get what your saying, I too would be much much more excited if we had a real ak2i/cyclods/supercard equivalent for 3ds.
