Quick question out of my own curiosity, how do rom hacks run on the DSTWO? Games like Super Demo world and such, do they run just as well because they're not special chipped, just larger roms?
Pokemon (gba) Sonic (genesis) and Mario World (SNES) hacks tend to work perfectly fine. Translation patches work fine as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I recall the PSP Go can only run a CFW, not install it. Meaning every time you reboot you have to run it again, and again, etc.

Unless I'm wrong I mean I haven't checked on the PSP scene in a long time. My own PSP 2k only has ME 6.37.
Any model that can run 6.20 (which is like 95% of PSPs in general and 100% of the Go since they all ship with 5.70 as there was never a second motherboard revision for some reason) can use the 6.20 perma patch now. And yes, you can downgrade a Go with a softmod.

Why would anyone want to run the 6.20 Permapatch and use a downgrader. CFW is a few button presses away on 6.60 and Permanent in PSP1K' and older PSP2k's when the custom IPL for it is flashed. I have both a 1K and older 2K on 6.60 with the custom IPL so it runs CFW right from boot.

not to mention... PSN works for Store,Online Play, and Console Activation on 6.60 CFW so you can redownload PSN purchases on it also.

The later 2000, any 3000, any Go, and any E1000 cannot use cIPL, so 6.20's perma patch is the only option.

PSN works on 6.20 as well, and 6.20 PRO is developed alongside the 6.60 version, so you have all the same fixes.

I did not say the later 2000's,the 3000, and the E1000 could use cIPL. also, why would 6.20 Perma patch be the only option. running 6.60 OFW and running the cfw loader from the Memory Stick takes like ~10 seconds to do and only needs to be done when the console it shutdown and restarted.

6.20's perma patch is the only option for an auto-start CFW on those models. That was the subject, right? :P

And why would people want to waste a few extra seconds on a reboot if the option is there to not do it? It's a tiny amount of time and rare, but what's the downside to 6.20 anyways, which gets rid of that?

The ambassador games run in 3DS-mode and thus have access to all the 3DS's extra power.

Flash carts, on the other hand, can only access DS-mode, and are limited to the power of the original DS.

Anyways, going to start on the video conversion and upload.

Don't forget that in addition to running in 3ds mode, the emulators are also written by people who have a much better understanding of it's inner workings than we do which leads to much more efficient emulation.
