Never. Partly because I have two older brothers (I'm 21 and they're 33 and 34, very useful when you're a kid), and since I'm kinda tall and big (1m84 / 104 kg), people rarely want to fight me... Also, I'm very skilled in avoiding dangerous situations :P I got one or two problems with guys who thought that I was hitting on their girlfriends (not my fault if they sucked at relationships and that I'm a good listener) and with a "funny guy" who painted my letterbox with chocolate (real chocolate, not a metaphor for sh** :P), but nothing really serious.
The only times I actually hit someone were when I was 5 or 6, someone broke my glasses and spat on me (he got a nice punch in return) and some guy who was making fun of me (he really pissed me off) when I was 8 or 9 (I choked him, threatend him, then I threw him to the ground in front of his mother)

And my friends told me I'm really scary when I'm upset :D

Not sure if I have a right to speak here, but I've been bullied on occasion for trying to help my friends who were bullied themselves. One of my best friends in High School got bullied for no apparent reason. I really didn't want him to feel bad about it, so one day I stood up for him while he was being bullied. It wasn't really a smart idea. Instead of focusing on him, the bullies started focusing all their attention on me. It didn't affect me all that much, thank goodness. But being bullied and feeling helpless was a horrible feeling.

Although these days I might as well thank the bullies for teaching me how to stand up for myself. In fact, I'd like to believe that being bullied has made me a better person in general. It's extremely easy for me to relate to different kinds of people. It comes in handy for my college major right now, as well. ;)

I was always a big guy, but I got picked on in youth group in middle school for being socially retarded (thanks mom and dad...(homeschooled). No one fucks with me nowadays, I'm 6'3 and 210 pounds.

Yeah, quite a bit. Because I'm pretty short, well, it's not that bad now anymore, I'm still shorter than avarage, but not much.
Anyway, it started in elementary school, and continued in highschool (we just have elementary school and highschool and after that college of uni, no middleschool, w/e that is).
Then they stopped bullying me about my length, and began bullying me because my style was quite different than the rest of the school (nothing extreme, just a bit rock/emo).
Because of that, and because I chose a wrong profile at school and I didn't want to redo that year, I dropped out of school early and went to college, never to be bullied again :)
Guess it's because people are more mature there.

This one girl tried to bully me in elementary school because I liked some boy things. She rounded up a posse and they started in on me a lot. I never payed any attention to them and eventually I got so annoyed that I chewed them out over it.

I can't remember what I said, but a friend who knew me at the time claims I went into how I didn't have to fit into any gender roles and how they were hypocrites for acting like male bullies when they were against girls doing boy things.

However, I do remember that a nearby teacher applauded me over it and that I wasn't bullied after that.

Edit) Also, I've been told me and the bully were good friends in high school. I don't remember who the bully was, though, so it makes no difference to me.

Nah, I don't stick out much, and if anyone notices me they're probably not going to mess with me. I'm around 6'4" or 5" and thanks to genetics I don't exactly look like the pussy I am, I guess. An acquaintance of mine introduced himself with "I used to think you're kind of scary, but they say you're like a big teddy bear", so I guess that's the kind of impression I set on people. Not sure whether that's good or bad.

so I guess that's the impression that people get from me, for better or worse. I think I've been the tallest person in my class for as long as I can remember.
Being tall does have its anti-bullying advantages.

Well I spend most of my life jumping from one country/city to another so I suffered several years from it .
KG to G2 most of the kids ignored me as I didn't understand them & their English wasn't great .

G3 to G7 just teased for a while every time I switch school but not really bullied

G8 worst year of my life got horribly mentally bullied (I could easily defend against physical) by the whole class the whole year making fun of me of look , accent , lack of understand of their pervert slang & refusing to do the same with other kids several times while being discriminated by some teachers .

G9 another new place & this time I learned from past year and just passed quietly.

G10-12 by that time I completely stopped caring about what others say & learned how to make bullies leave me .

well, in elementary and middle school, I was picked on a bit for being small and short. I was also the only asian girl in my elem/middle school, and some people picked on me for that. but now people just occasionally and jokingly refer to how small I am ;P
Short chicks are adorable... I like hugging them like around there head... makes me feel like a monster :P

During elementary school they tried to bully me, however I punched them where it hurts and it stopped in the end (the end of elementary school they must have liked being punched and kicked).
And after that I became the person that observes and should not be pissed of.
And atm I am not being bullied around 180cm~ tall and not that weak :)

One of the few advantages. Low hanging signs are the bane of my existence and I have awful posture due to my tendency to attempt to have the same eye-level as everyone else.

Tall people make more money on average. Tall people are more likely to attract a mate. Tall people are more likely to be in positions of power. The list of advantages is significant.

This is sort of off topic...but ah who cares.
I agree, haha. I absolutely love girls with smaller body frames (I have no idea if that's the right term). Girls like that definitely have a higher chance of getting picked on for being super cute.
Girls bully out of jealousy so damn often. I mean, bullying happens a lot because of jealousy, but to the extent girls will go to destroy a person they're jealous of is both disgusting and a little impressive...in a sad way.

but yeah, on-topic... bullying is usually the result of either self esteem issues or the victim has different point of views or mindsets that contradict the abuser... or they just plain deserve it...

when i was a kid i was bullied as hell every day for at last 5 day a week for like 6 years every time it ended with a fight and a little blood
i was fat and short and i was a little ............how i can say .........nervous?! i didnt like to fight but if someone say something bad for my family i didnt.........well recognize the difference bettwin small and big so i always fight
but when i got on middle school things changed i was more mature and so the others ...........also i got a athletic body and become 1.80 cm ......
but i think i didnt fight more coz things could go really bad (knife and other things) iN difference when i was a kid (rocks and punch)
if you are bullied remember this tips:
0.TELL YOUR PARENTS ,you will be called a coward but better a live one and without scars (and with $) than a dead one

I totally missed the creation of this thread and I have to go soon, but yes. I had a horrible experience for most of 8th grade, but I put it in a protected blog because it's not something I want any random person to see. It's a very long and explicit story, if anyone really wants to read it and doesn't have access PM me and I will (when I come back later) add permission.
